Excellente cuisine à partir de produits frais. Les ribbs sont comme aux States ! Supers hamburgers. Le rapport qualité / prix est incomparable. À ne pas rater

Ce restaurant qui avait si bonne réputation à l'ouverture, avec des plats bons et copieux, est en train de faillir.Lors de notre dernière visite, j'ai voulu tester l'alligator.Les quelques morceaux de viande trempaient dans une sauce tomate immonde.En accompagnement, du riz basmati, trop cuit, pâteux et tiède.

La salade de chèvre ne vaut pas 14€, c'est un peu cher pour ce que c'est. Un peu surpris de voir du raisin sec et des pommes dans cette salade. Manque de lardons par exemple. L'autre bémol fut l'attente de nos plats très très long. Sinon, d'où le 4/5, les plats étaient très bons et copieux. Notamment le pavé de cerf exquis et très fondant. Une découverte le welsh qui nous a bien plu également.

J'ai mangé dans ce restaurant cette semaine avec une autre personne.La salle est agréable et le patron sympathique. Les plats sont faits maison. Ils sont très bons, copieux et le prix n'est pas excessif du tout.Bref, que du positif pour cette première visite, je pense y retourner par la suite.Plats pris : Oeufs mayonnaise, canard à l'orange, andouillette AAAAA, assiette de fromages, mousse au chocolat. Lovely restaurant which is a bit off the beaten track of your coastal but worth a visit. Not a massive menu but to pick from. Good food well presented. I’ve been before and server was excellent, unfortunately on this occasion, while the young lady waiting our table was friendly enough, I felt there was not much interest in helping us beyond “what would you like” and “here’s your food”. No offer of any extra sauce or drinks or how’s your food. Noting. I would have given this place 5 stars again (did before because the service was as excellent as the food) but not on this visit sadly. I have run a golf trip to France for almost 20 years and we have been staying local to the Mississippi for the last 7 years. We always eat here on a couple of evenings and have always found the owner and his staff to be very welcoming. There are 16 of us so I usually email in advance to book tables and he remembers us every year. We are usually quite loud, have the occasional sing song, but are never out of order, and the owner, Didier, never complains. He is a great guy! The locals usually laugh and join in any singing! We have eaten here on a number of occasions over three or so years and always been happy with the food and the service. This time however, despite the usual friendly welcome from the proprietor we felt a little disappointed.We arrived early so no delay in ordering. In past years the menu has been a rather 'Heath Robinson ' plastic folder, but my recollection is that we could understand most of it and had no trouble ordering.
