"Our appetizers were delightful — we shared a chili aubergine dish, arancini, and padron peppers. For our main courses, two of us enjoyed the bouillabaisse-style fish, which was fantastic, while my husband had a small filet steak topped with pancetta, mushrooms, and scallops, which he thoroughly enjoyed. For dessert, we indulged in an XL éclair and a deconstructed pavlova, rounded off with some coffee. We also shared a lovely bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Overall, we left as three very satisfied customers. I noticed that some guests felt there was too much seafood on the menu, but I personally think it's great, and there are plenty of other excellent options available too. Their steaks are always top-notch, and they offer smoked dishes, chicken, delicious burgers, and fantastic salads. I particularly love the warm sweetness of the dessert salads. This is truly one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. Thank you, Delphine and the staff!"

"Every aspect of the evening was perfect! This is by far the best dining experience in guernsey I have ever had. The venue is beautiful and all the details were taken into consideration. The staff are very attentive as we were immediately seated with menus and water. At the sushi bar we were served by the chef who was extremely helpful in suggesting some amazing sushi dishes. To start we had the tempura crab and calamari, the presentation was beautiful and it tasted delicious. We went on to try the dragon rolls, spicy tuna rolls, unagi nigiri and some sashimi. Both a long time sushi fan and stranger to the cuisine were impressed! We finished with a banoffee pie and chocolate tart for dessert. Both could melt in your mouth! I couldn't believe the banoffee pie was gluten and dairy free! I can't forget to mention the incredible bartender who made me some incredible cocktails. She was also very attentive, interacting with us with her trips to and from the bar, which just added the the already fun welcoming experience. I have to say that it is on the more expensive side but worth it 100 times over. Far better than anything else in Guernsey at the same price. In fact it was more than worth the money because between my friend and I we tipped 25%! For anyone who wants an amazing dining experience in Guernsey, whether you're a local or just visiting, go no further than The Hook!"

"We came here for our works function on the 21 Dec. What a great atmosphere. Although we had squeeze our way through the crowds, the place was buzzing and had a real feel good atmosphere. We were sat upstairs for our meal. The staff were rushed off their feet but did their best to serve us promptly and the food was second to none! I definitely recommend this place if you want a top night out and be sure to order the Bootilicious cocktail!! Here is a picture I have included.. as you can see, I demolished the lot pretty swiftly! "This chic and fashionable restaurant is located in the Hotel de Havelet and features a private terrace that offers stunning views of the bay and Castle Cornet. It's a lovely spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or evening cocktails. During our stay at the hotel, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast and a pleasant dinner. The brasserie-style cuisine was excellent, and we particularly savored the seafood, which included octopus salad, mussels, and sea bass, followed by a delicious chocolate dessert with ice cream."

"The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy, featuring comfortable seating and ambient lighting. The staff greeted us promptly and graciously. To start, we ordered not one but two portions of paani puri and a papri chaat. They were crispy, tender, and slightly sweet — absolutely delicious! For our main course, we enjoyed chicken tikka masala (murg shan e daawat) and tandoori tarkari. Both dishes were outstanding! After 25 years of trying hundreds of tikka masala dishes around the world, I can honestly say that only a select few are as spectacular as this one. The tarkari was incredibly flavorful and satisfying. For dessert, we chose the kesar pista kulfi, which was juicy, soothing, and a delightful blend of sweet, silky, and creamy Indian flavors. It was the perfect way to end our evening at Daawat restaurant. We decided that from now on, this will be our go-to place every time we visit Gothenburg."
