A regular haunt for us on our week away for a mid morning break for a cafe au lait. Service is efficient and friendly. Only ate here once and the ham sandwich was exactly what was described. Location is superb and great for people watching,

Our final meal at the end of a 3 day ski. Food was superb. Steak was cooked to perfection. Beef stew in crepe looked amazing. Wine very reasonably priced for mountain. Mind your head in the eves, though. Crime brûlée to finish. We'll be back.

Great place located at the intersection going to Switzerland. There are three restaurants in the area - we've been to two (this one definitely the best).They accept Swiss francs too (useful for us as we were on there for the day. Polite staff. We chanced upon this place six years ago during our first trip to Avoriaz and were blown away by the beef Bourguignon. Six years later we are back at Avoriaz and of course had to come back to our favorite place. Did not disappoint. Also had French onion soup that was delish and a lemon tarte that was to die for. All very reasonably priced. Soooooo gooooood!

We thoroughly enjoyed the traditional foods here. The kids meal choices were limited, however they were happy to let the younger two share a steak, which they thought was excellent (having tasted it, it was an excellent sirloin). The traditional meals were great, we had the tartiflette and other local dishes (forgot their names, one was sausages/diots and the other bread with a lot of cheese baked in the oven) all of which were excellent. The decor is traditional and welcoming. Also, it had a modern, clean toilet, albeit downstairs.

Lovely little place to get food and a drink. Would have been 5 start but was quite disappointed with one of the dishes we received in our party.I ordered the plate of the day as it actually sounded like a nice little dish: chicken escalope with spaghetti and a nice tomato sauce and a decent size side salad, however, i had started eating my chicken i realised it was a bit chewy and upon inspecting i found that it was still very much raw...I brought it to the attention of a waitress who took it away immediately without saying a word and it was at least 15 minutes before it came back, and by the time it did the rest of my family were finished their meals.
