Le Troquet à Soupes

This is a wonderful place to have a lunch during the hot day! The dishes are delicious, the woman cooking and serving is wonderful, helpful and very positive!

Stopped by here during a short trip to Cannes and was so happy with the fresh, delicious, and homemade food as well as the fantastic service! In a town that can be quite expensive and fancy, this was such a lovely place for a great lunch. Would highly recommend!

We went for lunch and it was delicious! Beef tartare was amazing! Raclette was also amazing! The owner was very friendly and helpful. They also had french onion soup that looks delicious, chile con carne, and fresh salads. Small restaurant but a gem. The chef uses really fresh ingredients and was also recommended by locals.

Restaurants is very small, the woman works on his own (it seems like that), so service might be a bit slow, but on the other hand, quality is excellent. The lady is very nice and speaks several languages. Portions are very large and price is well below the average in the area. It is a perfect air for a quick lunch. I don't think the restaurant has air conditioning, but there are seats outside.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant made for the locals. Starting off with a brilliant French onion soup made by two ladies. Then a creative cucumber gazpacho which was the tastiest and most refreshing gazpacho I have ever had. Finishing off with a beef tartar which was seasoned on point. I arrived in Cannes and whilst I was very tired, hungry and full of cold I spent 30 mins to find this place for breakfast. Once I found I was very excited and feeling very much so ready for food. The owner said she did not have time to aske anything because she had started prep for various dishes she was going to be doing for lunch. I was very disappointed and actually walked away and cried. I felt dismissed and disregarded when I was at a vulnerable moment which I explained. Disappointed because I was excited

A delightful small mediterranean style restaurant nestled in the narrow streets just a short walk from the main coastal road. We took a light lunch here and were extremely happy with the choice we made. Much of the menu was very healthy and prices were very reasonable particularly when considering the location. The proprietor was friendly, efficient and had a real passion for the high quality food that she prepared and served single-handedly. Yes, there are multiple places to choose in this area and I am sure many good places to eat but I would not hesitate to recommend the time to seek out and eat at Le Troquet a Souped.

Look to start I might tell you that if you are looking for a tranquil easygoing and relaxed place this is the place for you. You may have a little wait and have to remind but it is very relaxed and homely with lots to see along the street. For us, we wanted to try local cuisine, the owner who does everything herself is kind, friendly and understanding. I witnessed her trying to help others speak Spanish and English and she spoke a little of English and Italian with us to help us understand. The food is local cuisine, freshly made, great tasting and the prices are not found this cheap in other places! In fact other places in Cannes are quite expensive without being that good.
