"We stayed at Legoland on March 22nd and 23rd 2024, and had a fantastic day out at the theme park on both days. On the Friday night we went to the Tournament Tavern restaurant and had a lovely evening the food was great and the customer service, led by our waiter Lewis, was excellent. Our standards aren’t particularly spectacular to be honest; for example we don’t expect food to be of Michelin Star standard, or the waiting staff to be able to juggle balls of fire on a unicycle whilst taking our order. Our must haves include things like food being warm enough to eat, and generally served without kitchen foil still attached to it… …So after another lovely day out at the theme park (despite the chilly March weather) we looked forward to another nice evening of food, this time at the Bricks family restaurant. Our table was booked for 6pm, by which point we knew our children would be extremely hungry and ready to eat after a long day’s shenanigans at the park. I went down just before 6 to give the waiting staff a birthday cake for one of our party’s children so we could sing happy 5th birthday to him after our meals. The staff were more than happy to accommodate, and took away the cake for later on. A great start. We then sat down for food promptly at 6pm, and the waiting staff were quick to take our orders. £25 for the three courses for the kids, and £29 for 2 courses for the adults. Not the cheapest, however certainly not the most expensive either however we had high hopes after the prior night at the Tournament Tavern. The waitress had come over to serve us quickly as well, so we were really off to a flyer now… As the kids were super hungry, we made a point of asking if the kids starters could come out as a priority, with their mains to follow as soon as possible as well. No problem, we were assured and within five minutes ALL of our starters appeared on the table, along with drinks. Brilliant. The starters overall were nice, but were clearly charged at a bit of a premium considering what they were; for example kids veg and houmous, and adults beef spring rolls. We finished our starters, and then waited for someone to come back to us to clear the plates. And then we waited some more. We waited a bit more after that, and then a little longer. I’d grown a full beard by the time the waitress reappeared to take our plates away. She cleared most, but not all the plates, and then off she went again. And so we waited some more… and a little longer after that. And by the time anyone appeared again, not only had my wife also grown a full beard but my three year old son had by now turned 18 and no longer qualified for the kids menu. In total we waited an hour to be served our mains, and having specifically asked for prompt meals for the children when we arrived, to be forgotten was very disappointing. In fact, I honestly think that if we hadn’t finally caved in and asked another waiter to go and find out where our mains were, then we might actually have turned into Lego statues before being served. So it was all going downhill at this point. Anyone with young kids will know the pain; they were tired and super hungry by now, but nothing that Youtube Kids couldn’t resolve don’t judge me… So the mains came out after an hour, and everyone is by now losing the will to live. Not to worry though, we have good quality meals to look forward to now… remember guys £25 for three courses kids, and £29 for two courses adults… Luckily my 7 year old daughter is not a trained Sous Chef (yet), nor is my 3 year old son a connoisseur of the kitchen, however it didn’t take Gino D’acampo to see immediately that these were just microwaved meals hastily bunged in a bowl with pasta pieces glued tightly together for good measure. If I said that both the macaroni and cheese and spagehetti meatballs dishes were ‘hot’, then this would be an understatement. ‘Incinerated in the flames of hell’ would be a far more accurate description, and luckily I tested the temperature and advised the kids to let it cool down for a decade before attempting to eat their meals. It really was appalling quality, and deplorable service to put dishes out for young kids at that temperature. Having worked in hospitality in years gone by, yes I do understand that a microwave is often a necessary tool to support with the cooking process but this was terrible. ‘So what else have you got to whinge about?’ I hear you implore… after discovering the heat of my children’s meals was on a par with the surface of the sun, bizarrely it was the other way around for me: I had to send my chickpea curry back to the kitchen as it was cold. my friend’s son, the one who was having the birthday cake, had foil in his meal. It was a very small piece of foil to be fair, however… it was FOIL in a kids meal for the love of god! I mean we’re all for natural ingredients in our kid’s meals, but we draw a line at feeding our children materials that can be found in the Periodic table. So yes, this had to go back to the kitchen too, and a further wait as a result. Of course, by now, we each needed a good programme of counselling and some strong sedatives to overcome the whole experience, and we finally threw in the towel when our friend’s son asked to go to bed beford his birthday cake came out. Enough was enough. By now, the manager was involved, and to her credit at the end of the night she did provide us with a discount in recognition of the poor service we had encountered. As compensation for the missed birthday cake, she also offered to put a candle in a pancake the following morning at breakfast instead… however, sadly for a child of 5 years old a candle in a pancake doesn’t quite captivate the imagination… but we agreed nevertheless. All in all, a dreadful experience. I’m sure we were the unlucky ones and that the vast majority of visitors have a fantastic experience at Bricks. However, I’m a firm believer that if prices are set high, then customer service and quality standards should reflect these. Sadly, this was not the case for us on our visit to Bricks. (Although i’m now hoping to have a candle in a Weetabix if ever I go for breakfast there on my birthday in the future)."

Food is desperate and completely overpriced. It’s a complete joke that a company as successful as Lego would expect their customers to be served up this food. Don’t eat there under any circumstances.

Food is overpriced the chips are what I would describe as shaved so cold, fish I recon was microwaved and even my wee boy said his macaroni was disgusting. The restaurant wasnt the cleanest The only good thing about the restaurant was the lego models.

We stayed at the Legoland hotel and had breakfast in the Bricks restaurant. We had pancakes and a full English which was all perfectly good (with the exception of the watery mushroom)! Additionally croissants and cereals were available and very nice. Not much in the way of fruit, but with pancakes on offer our children weren't bothered! We opted to go out for a meal after reading evening meal reviews, but after a positive breakfast experience we might try Bricks next time. Lovely helpful staff too!

Let's start with staff were friendly and quick with orders and did not need to wait long for our dinner. 2 kids meals and 1 adult. One of the worst meals I have ever tasted (did not finish). Considering the adult menu is very limited to what you can have, you would assume that the selected items should be at some sort of standard. Also on the children's menu it just advertises the price for 3 courses, not showing single prices- which could lead to some adults assuming that's their only option. If you are staying here In future I'd suggest checking out where is close to eat or if you're able to order food for delivery. Going to bed a hungry mumma! Did book breakfast but will now be cancelling... Visualizza piatti

The best thing about Bricks restaurant is Stephanie she is an asset to the company. She was so pleasant and accommodating, a real delight. There were 7 of us in our party. We had breakfast for 3 mornings. We had booked 3 evening meals but after the first evening we cancelled the remaing two. The quality of the food is poor for the cost and you have no choice but to order a two or three course meal. Not everyone wants two or three courses!! I don't know how they get away with this! The continental breakfast consists of cereals, croissants and chocolate croissants, apples, clementine or banana's. The containers were frequently empty and banana's were scarce. The resort Hotel is spotless and th...

The menu and table were both dirty at this restaurant. The menu was misleading as it advertised adult meals as 2 courses for £25.99 and children's meals as 3 courses for the same price, making it seem like those were the only options available. However, you can actually just have the main course for approximately £5 less for adults and £14.99 for kids. The selection was limited to 5 meals, two of which were burgers. My wife did not enjoy her meal, but that may have been a matter of taste rather than the meal itself being bad. The rest of us had burgers, and there didn't seem to be much difference in portion sizes between the child and adult burgers. If you have a child on the cusp of the two...

Having read the reviews on here, I thought to myself “Can’t be that bad” Luckily, it wasn’t, it was worse. First and foremost, the staff were really helpful and friendly, that’s a a good as it got. Took 30 minutes for our food to come, was an English breakfast muffin (or similar), kids adult breakfast and a chocolate cheesecake croissant. As the food arrived at the table, my wife and I took one look at it and we both decided we weren’t going to eat it. The sausage on both breakfasts were grey in colour and lukewarm at best to the touch. The bacon really didn’t look like it had seen a pan either. The muffin was rock hard and cold, clearly it had gone stale. I also saw pancakes going to other... Visualizza piatti

Absolutely terrible in every meaning of the word. We stayed about 5 years ago and the service and quality has decreased exponentially in that time. If you don 't want to read my detailed rant, take my advice and travel somewhere else to eat to save you time, money and disappointment. Extremely limited choice, overpriced, poor quality (for kids meals), very slow service and surrounded by dirty tables for an hour. We had booked a table, we were seated promptly and we quickly had someone take our drinks order. That 's where any positives end. 4 of 5 drinks were brought after 15 minutes while we looked around at the dirty tables around us and realised that some of the cutlery on our table had be...

Nicole saved the day! We booked for 6:45, this was a trip for my daughter’s 7th birthday. We were staying in the hotel. Myself, My partner and our two children 7 and 4 months old. I have ADHD, I wish I had taken my earplugs. There was so much going and so loud. This is was expected but just a note for any neurodivergent people, loops are needed. Starter and mains served very quickly but the food was poor quality. The cost was expected due to being a theme park but the food was not worth it at all. We barely touched our food. Our waitress didn’t seem that interested. Then came desert by this point I was already tapped out and done. I just wanted out of there. I thought with starter and main b...

"We were visiting Windsor and read the good reviews about this place and were so pleasantly surprised to find such cosy and beautiful place . The food was delicious. Lots of starters to choose from. We had squid and warm salad for starters... The squid...was so delicious and beautifully cooked, and had subtle spicey chilly and onion dressing. I had warm salad and the pork just melted in my mouth . For our mains we had steaks , sirloin and rib eye and my partner said this is the best steak he had ever had in UK . The mushroom sauce I had was so authentic just perfect. The sides of duck fat chips and cauliflower cheese are must try ! I never though that I'd love cauliflower but I'm already a fan after trying WG's special side of cauliflower cheese. Generous portions and such lovely staff ! They made us feel welcomed always with smile on their faces and very knowledgeable and chatty as well. The whole atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxed and it had real good vibe .The play list was such a nice addition to our experience , such good mix of all types of music. We were sat at the table close to the bar, and we've noticed that the whole place is decorated with good taste and attention to detail. This place is a true gem honestly , and I'm not surprised now that they have so many stars reviews ! We will definitely come back when visiting Windsor again ! My sincere compliments to the chefs as well ! We've learned that the owner of the restaurant is the Chef at the kitchen so what a delight , when so much attention to details is payed to food ! You created a food momento that we will not forget ."
