"Before I moved to Jena, I lived in Hungary, and I am a lángos freak.Pros:-Clean, modern space-Free wi-fi-Centrally located-Creative lángos toppings-Family-friendly (lots of kids hopping around at lunchtime)Cons:-Massive profit margins (the point of lángos is that they're supposed to be cheap as hell, and the basic version, no toppings, runs around €3, as opposed to the 60 cents or so that they usually cost in Hungary and you can get a huge plate next door at Café OK for the cost of one of their lángos with toppings)-By Hungarian standards, the lángos are a little bit below average, despite the restaurant's claim to a connection to the Lélek family - the dough lacks the "lightness" of really good lángos-If you put really cold cheese and really cold ham on your lángos, the cheese doesn't melt, which is the point to putting cheese on the lángos anyway, and the cold ham is kind of gross in contrast to the hot lángos (although I could understand that the restaurant has to be careful, for sanitary reasons)-Their Facebook page has a number of errors in their Hungarian and can't seem to get the G.D. accent marks right, which drives me nuts-Seating is ridiculously uncomfortable and despite the general family-friendly atmosphere, when I recently went with a friend who is breastfeeding, the friend had a difficult time finding a spot/ seating position where she could do so in semi-privacy.If I want a lángos, it'll do, but mostly it makes me dream of the real deal in Hungary."
