"I leave very rare reviews, but I feel compelled to share some feedback on this occasion. The view is excellent and the service is polite and professional, but the food is good under par. The Poulet de Bresse was extremely rubbery (significantly overcooked) and the sauce tasteless and much too liquid. Absolute amateur lesson. The appetizers were best forgettable and only a desert (the olive oil ice cream pan) really stood out of 6 dishes. I would strongly recommend you to avoid this restaurant, there are many phenomenal facilities in the Luberon and this is nothing short of a shame of eating wise (la Table du Mas is a 20 minute drive and I can assure you that you leave this restaurant with memories to keep you a life for the same price). This hotel should really consider renting a real chef."

A sumptuous setting, between vineyard and garrigue. Quality table, attentive service and kitchen of fresh and local products.

A unique setting in the vineyards, excellent for roasting, young and dynamic team. Too bad we had to book at 7:00, a little early.

An exceptional setting, service made in the rules of art however a real flat kitchen. We ate at four o'clock, a very simple meal, without great interest not to justify the rates. To avoid.

Very good service, and appropriate kitchen. But little overall regularity (the cocktails all deserve a nice presentation at 20€ the glass, except that, very good place for dinner or casual lunch;

An exceptional place in the heart of vineyards and lavender. An irreproachable service and quality dishes. A very original dessert menu, all accompanied with the wines of the estate. And besides if you have the chance to be served by Nadia, the asturian touch of the restaurant, your moment will only be more delicious. Christophe and Valerie, lubricants.

The location is beautiful and the service professional. However, food is below average and very overpriced. I almost returned my entire main course (Squid) and told the waitress that there was too much vinegar in the plate. She took it back, but I was not offered an alternative or any form of “cost”. We were fully charged, even for the bad main course. There are too many excellent restaurants in the region to choose this restaurant again.

"David's chef Emmanuel Champion left in the New Year and the restaurant was closed for redecoration. This is the first time we have been there since then and I am very sorry to say that, although the patron and one waiter are the same everything else has changed.Gone is the stylish but comfortable decor, the fresh table linen and in their place are wood-effect topped tables, heavy and rather low chairs but worst of all to traditionalist me, fake leather table mats.The two set price menus have the same offering of two choices for each of three courses but with a couple of exceptions these were neither seasonal nor especially local. The wine list is pretty much as it was.This new chef has a great deal to learn. His cooking is somewhat lacking in finesse.The first course of foie gras was not melt in mouth and was strangely topped with a chocolate flavoured jelly which I thought didn't work. The toasted brioche served with it was welcome as was the very small serving of chutney.The main dish was just clumsy. It sounded hopeful: John Dory with a boullabaisse sauce. The sauce was a lacking-in-flavour foam and the overcooked fish was sitting on two huge pieces of potato, also overcooked and a lump of carrot. I couldn't finish mine.Both desserts contained chocolate and I chose the bananas flambeed in rum on a biscuit. The bananas were cold cut into identical cylinders with a mousse in the middle, but the rum had escaped. I asked for the accompanying chocolate ice cream not to be served.I feel really sorry having to write this review because we have known and loved David since the early 1980s through the then third generation owner and chef, the present owner and his first chef to last night.I know, things, especially in food have to move on but............"
