"we loved this restaurant and two nights followed. both were different experiences. in the first night we were inside and the restaurant was stylish and had a great atmosphere eating was amazing. in the second night we sat on the bar to the eve-dinner drink with a view of the lake, which was beautiful and then sat outside for another amazing evening dinner and idyllic environment. the staff was very attentive and helpful in the selection. we would recommend a visit."

Asked for special Romantic table due to 10th Wedding Anniversary no special welcome or reference made to the request. Slow service despite being half empty 15 minutes before being given menu instructions. Food far too salty, poor service not asked how was meal, didn't even get offered a coffee, worst food and service ever.

Ha chiesto un tavolo romantico speciale a causa del 10. anniversario di matrimonio nessun benvenuto speciale o riferimento fatto alla richiesta. Servizio lento nonostante mezzo vuoto 15 minuti prima delle istruzioni del menu. Mangiare troppo salato, cattivo servizio non chiesto come era il pasto, nemmeno un caffè, il cibo peggiore e il servizio offerto affatto.

We had a reservation, but they decided on the same evening that they might close the restaurant because it was quiet or Italy played in the semifinals of the European Championship? and they never let us know. And the concierge of the 5 star Grand Hotel, what 5 stars??? not even excused. Maybe you should consider another restaurant or hotel. Menaggio has great alternatives:

Abbiamo fatto una prenotazione ma hanno deciso lo stesso giorno di chiudere il ristorante forse perché era troppo tranquillo o perché l'Italia stava giocando nelle semifinali del Campionato Europeo? e non ci hanno mai avisato. E il portiere del Grand Hotel a 5 stelle, 5 stelle??? nemmeno si è scusato. Forse dovresti considerare un altro ristorante o hotel. Menaggio ha delle ottime alternative:

We loved this restaurant and dined two nights in a row. Both were different experiences. On the first night we were inside and the restaurant was classy and had a great atmosphere food was amazing. On the second night we sat at bar for pre dinner drink overlooking lake which was beautiful and then sat outside for another amazing dinner and idyllic setting. The staff were very attentive and helpful with selections. We would highly recommend a visit.

Abbiamo amato questo ristorante e due notti di fila. Entrambi erano esperienze diverse. Nella prima notte eravamo dentro e il ristorante era elegante e aveva una grande atmosfera cibo era incredibile. Nella seconda notte ci siamo seduti al bar per la bevanda anteriore cena con vista sul lago, che era bello e poi seduti fuori per un'altra cena incredibile e dintorni idilliaci. Il personale era molto attento e disponibile nella selezione. Consigliamo una visita.
