"We thought this was apple strudel after dinner in another restaurant. There was only one other table of guests and only one waitress, a young brunette girl. Although it was obvious that we don't speak their language, we could say one and apple strudel in terrible German, so they understood. The apple strudel was nicely served and tasted pretty good. Big enough for two, it was exactly what we wanted our first night in Germany. We enjoyed it so much, we wanted to return to dinner next night to try their dinner selection. When the young lady took the check, we tried to pay the amount of 5.50 euros with a credit card. She shook her head and seemed to say they don't take credit cards, so we gave her a 20 Euro note. When she made our change, she put the coins on the table with their values and quickly went away. After we turned them all around and counted, we realized that they had cut us 1 euro and tips are already included in the cost of food in restaurants in Germany. She was either too stupid to count the change from 5.50 to 20, or she deliberately changed us briefly. While the coins with their values face-down seemed dishonest to show, we prefer to think they are honest, but simply too stupid to change a 20 Euro note. No matter if you do not speak the language or especially if you are unfamiliar with the euro coins and their different values, be careful wherever you travel."

Leckeres Essen zu gutem Preis. Hat leider recht lang gedauert für insgesamt 7 Gäste vor Ort. Ansonsten ein Schönes Ambiente.

If you are a bit tired of German foods (is there ever?? You can find a safe harbour here. The restaurant is not cheap, but its steaks are wonderful and well maintained. The salad buffet is also very beautiful.

Beste Fleischqualität, perfekt zubereitet (was bei rare oft daneben geht). Das war phantastisch. Anders kann ich es nicht sagen. Vom Ambiente über die freundliche und flotte Bedienung bis zum qualitativ hochwertigen Essen ein absolut gelungener Abend.

Beautiful seats outside the water with the family. We ordered the castle, which was of very good quality. We ordered organic mushrooms and organic wines brewed by a local brewery, very tasteful. The dressage of the chef salad wasn't our taste. Beautiful place...if you want to order a meat dish

Wir waren gestern das erste Mal in diesem Restaurant. Sind aus Paderborn hingefahren. Der Weg war es 100 wert. Absolut tolles Essen, sehr schönes Ambiente, toller Inhaber. Sehr lecker und hochwertig!! Die Kinder waren begeistert von den Burgern und wir hatten tolle Steaks!! Habe einen tollen Geburtstag dort erlebt und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!
