We came on Sunday 6 of us the standard of service and food was absolutely fantastic we all had a really fantastic afternoon and we will all certainly ne returning

We had the most fabulous meal at Lilac Cottage in Prestbury on Saturday evening. Friendly atmosphere, attentive staff and delicious tapas. We’ll be coming again very soon.

Amazing restaurant, beautifully decorated. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and we got a tour of the lovely secret garden area too! Lovely family atmosphere, the food was fresh and delicious, and the service was quick. Would recommend!

four of us enjoyed a delicious, varied lunch in the lilac cottage on Sunday. we ordered a series of orders, including a vegetarian paella to share. every dish was full of taste. I especially enjoyed my pigglock and my chili car. the service was excellent and we will certainly be back.

Went for a midweek tea with family. Food was so good, service fantastic, very attentive and recommendations superb! So full after our main courses thought my daughter would still want a dessert and was right for once! Manager recommended a dessert cocktail like a tiramisu and omg was so good! Chicken Sizzler, mushrooms and garlic bread honestly I work for a living and eat every evening, but it is up there with the best I ever had, and probably the most beautiful for a long time anyway, it was just so perfectly cooked honest guard from the cook, nice place to lads are sounded it's just me out here at 17:00 it's between sitting, so can not comment on the atmosphere

had a nice meal last night, was a little disappointed as booked table in the "secret garden' room, but not expected it to be included in tarpe, so ruined the ambiente. I'm sure we could move. the food was very nice, but all came very fast, we wanted to order more tapas, but then disappeared the staff, and at the time when they showed that we 'transgressed' the drink, as we wanted a few brot to dive sauces and padron peppers, we're forgetting to order. such a scandal, although very busy noticed in the main room. everything was done within an hour. hopefully we will try again.

Went with the girls for a Birthday meal. The staff wasn't very helpful or professional. I was asking about the menu as descriptions are vague and the waitress just walked off. Food not hot nor good portions for the cost as for a little more you'd get a full sized meal. But to walk out full you'd have to spend a lot. Drinks ate also expensive. Food was OK. Bill came they added £25 service charge! When asked to remove it we got told NO. So requested the manager sorted. Again this is a big thing in my eyes. Having worked for the NHS on the same money as the waiting on staff I really don't see why they think its a right to be tipped. Voluntary trips yes not added to your bill. Plus birthday girl...
