"... because I want to be able to get a table to eat there.I'd eaten here once before, about 10 years ago, after stumbling across it while on a work trip. It was memorable then, and I wanted to try it again.They were fully booked, but were able to give me a seat in the bar area.This is a special restaurant. Small and intimate, it filled quickly. I sat there with the buzz of German being spoken (not another English-speaker while I was there, so I decided to get by on my barely-passable German), drinking a nice glass of wine from the wine menu.My selections -- like the last time I was there -- were cooked to perfection. When I said I'd been there 10 years before, the waitress told me that it's still the same kitchen staff. I had the appetizer sampler and steak with gorganzola sauce, with creme brulee for dessert. I saw a quite a few other things that I plan to go back and try sometime. So just please don't go so often, as I know I have to be back in Frankfurt several more times in the coming months, and I still want to get a seat."

Man kann nicht entscheiden ist es ein Weinbar oder ein Restaurant, aber warum nicht beides. Tolle Mittelmeerküche. Große Auswahl an Weinen. Sehr zu empfehlen die Spagettinni mit Gambas. Mehr als Gut!

Das Restaurant ist mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.Die verhältnismäßig kleine Karte überzeugte mich ebenso, wie die Calamaretti und die Kalbsnieren in Senf-Calvados-Sauce. Auch die Kalbsleber in Balsamico war exzellent.

You can easily walk past this small wine bistro called Lobster in Sachsenhausen. But when you are right in front of step inside it is worth a visit, and when you have been there you can't live without it. The food and the atmosphere is so special and unique and Thomas the owner brings it all to an unforgettable evening. A hidden gem located in a quiet neighborhood in the Old Town Frankfurt. Only a small restaurant but what it lacks is space is more than compensated by the amazing food coming out of the kitchen. The charming owner Thomas has worked alongside the same head chef for 24yrs, this friendship shows the passion they both have for their restaurant and this passion comes to life in the food that they serve. Das Restaurant ist extrem rustikal, klein und unbequem und entbehrt leider jeglicher Gemütlichkeit. Es ist eng und laut. Mein Liebster hat mich zum Hummer essen eingeladen. Da ich ihn nicht enttäuschen wollte, habe ich im Restaurant keine Kritik geübt. Er hatte für jeden einen ganzen Hummer bestellt. Diese kamen dann zerlegt, mit Petersilie und Butter überschüttet auf einer silbernen Metzger-Servierplatte an den Tisch. Neben der Tatsache, dass das Essen von Anfang an nur lau warm und nach 5 Minuten kalt war, war auch das Schwanzfleisch zäh.
