Wir waren zum Brunch, beziehungsweise zum Mittagessen im Löwen. Toller Service, super leckeres Essen! Vielen Dank! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Nettes kleines Restaurant mit überschaubarer Speisekarte aber grossem Weinangebot. Waren zum Geburtstagsessen dort. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen war sehr lecker hätte aber einen Tick wärmer serviert werden können.

at our visit were two more tables occupied. the service was, naja nordisch subcooled and not very euphoric or attentive. the coffee is good, the cake generously portioned and tasty, but also unspectacular. the ambiente is a little tangent and acts as an old cheek at the same time to be hip. I'm sure you can make more of it. for a coffee, if you're close, it's okay. for the evening it is not in question for us. Maybe we'll test the breakfast there.

for hamburger, who live in hamburg, you have to get used to saying goodbye to the breakfast of mirror and touch. unless you know loewen, whose kitchen staff prepares various stewards and serves them tasty and steaming. they can sit inside or outside. they always have a large basket with apples to take away and the espresso/Lattes/coffee were also good. it is not an American caffe. they take time and it is still very German, but it is a nice change to rolls and cut (which also exists). actually we wanted to eat in another restaurant near. where everything was full, we had to look for something else and came past the loewen restaurant. the offer on the daily menu sounded very delicious. we thought it was a cafe, but the evening card was surprisingly diverse. we had salate, noodles, curry, and flammable cake and have underestimated the size of the portions. besides delicious wine there were also various beers and juice choirs. the fun sprouts of the service rounded off the evening.

Vermutlich liegt es an mir. Ich kann mit solchen Restaurants nichts anfangen. Spezialisiert auf Wild, was wir vorher nicht wussten (auch unsere Schuld), bleibt nicht viel, was man wählen kann. Die Portionen, selbstgemachte Ravioli, waren überschaubar, obwohl wir schon die grosse Portion bestellt hatten. Geschmacklich nichts Besonderes, aber auch nicht schlecht. Alles in allem aber viel zu teuer. In den Hamburger Stadtteil vermutlich aber genau richtig angesiedelt. Dort ist das Geld und das Restaurant passt in das Lebensgefühl der dortigen Bewohner. Insofern ist alles in Ordnung, aber auch nicht jedermanns Sache.

the loewen is already an institution in eppendorf. the ideal place, cozy to breakfast, a cup coffee and a piece of (very tasty) cake to enjoy, or in the evening nice a glass of wine or beer and to eat a petty food.The menu is not very extensive (especially for evening), but all very good (e.g. the salads or the homemade flaky cake or the delicious "Beast bread" plates. whether classic breakfast (it gives in many variants, according to request also with various extras), müsli, eier: everything is always freshly prepared and of very good quality. especially the guides are as they should be: from fresh eggs, in the pan carefully swept and never too dry.The service is very nice and attentive.A v...
