Great setting, but just so disappointing, who serves a salad with no vegetables in it? Should have been called a side lettuce. Fish was nice but nothing special. Tagline lacked real flavour. Very pricey.

This was another dinner venue arranged by Riviera travel. A pre ordered meal was efficiently and pleasantly served with special option for myself (non-dairy) very acceptable. A very pleasant evening spent here.

The Location is very nice and comfortable designed. The waiters did help us with the menue, as our french was not good enough to translate the menue. The food was well prepared but did not have a very special touch. Looking from the outside I expected more.

This place has a potential but it is lacking something one would typically expect from a higher class restaurants. Food is good, but towards "ok", rather then towards "great".Service is slow, even if attentive and polite. Menue is not very inventive. Feels overpriced for what it has to offer.

A large group of us came to Lotre for dinner - a great time was had by all.We were seated outside in a very pretty courtyard at tables for six people (so nice not to be on huge tables where you can't hear most of your fellow diners). Included was a pre-dinner drink with olives and tapenade, then an excellent three course meal with three bottles of wine between six, followed by coffee.Great service, lovely ambience. This restaurant was recommended by folks who live near here. Outside didn't look like much but once you enter through their garden, you know you're in for a treat. We ate on the terrace. The waitress was very patient with our very limited French. We had chicken and fish and it was very well prepared. The fresh vegetables were delicious- not what you get in NYC. And dessert was yummy. Ask waitress to recommend a local dessert. Enjoy!

I like everything about this restaurant. We were welcomed by elegant and polite manager then we were served by very professional waiter. All dishes were delicious. They have a very good choice of wine. The interior design is cosy and unique because there is an olive tree in the middle of the main room! The toilets were clean which is not very common thing in Aix En Provence. Outside restaurant there is a vegetable/ herbs garden and big space with tables. A very nice place for family or friends or even business lunch and dinner.

On the first evening of my arrival in Provence, my wife and I decided to have supper. On the way to Aix-en-Provence, they saw the lovely restaurant Lotre. The atmosphere and entourage of the restaurant made a favorable impression, but left me to be much better ... We arrived in Provence, in the south of France and expected to have dinner with Provencal cuisine. wanted to have different fish, vegetable dishes, and finally the famous aioli sauce .. but we did not get all this (I consisted of sets that the waiter refused to change, so we had to choose the most acceptable sets and dine with them.
