I'm standing on a delicious cake on the Rurterasse. And of course the live gigs. They're always great.

Fabulous setting overlooking the river. Superb friendly service and good food. Relaxed setting too with shade form the sun outdoors.

The waitress was very funny! The food -filled Bachforelle - was also very tasty. The outside terrace is a pleasant place to spend its time due to the surroundings, brook and green as far as the eye is concerned. Visualizza piatti

We (family of six) were seated out on the deck which was very pretty, but nobody ever came to give us menus or take our orders. The menu looked overpriced. We left after feeling ignored and getting a bad vibe, and we never ordered any food or drinks.

We fought with the menu, although it was in English, but were from a German couple close to us we sat we enjoyed the food, the well cooked Sirloin Steak with pepper sauce pork pruning Fries, followed by pastry cream fruit an apple swirl. The waitress was friendly and very entertaining in a Fawlty Toers way. Terrace overlooking the river is very beautiful.

As a non-smoker I have enough tolerance to look at smokers during chronic free death without irritating me. By the way, the hull also pulls off when the roof is closed, as there is still a 20 cm wide gap between wind protection and roof for sufficient natural ventilation. rarely seen so fast and eager waiters. Rapl-Zapp for the next guest disinfects everything or for a group put the tables together and pulled apart again for couples. And in between fix with the drinks, quickly served the food, which was also super tasty and also when it was time for a conversation with the guest. And all of this on a super beautiful outside terrace. All in all very good and unthinkable to recommend. But be careful: reserve a table!

We came across this restaurant because our first choices were fully booked and we didn't make reservations. We took the menu of the day which was very well priced and included tomato soup (nothing special at all), deer steak with red cabbage (nice) and a small ice cream. Very small wine choice and the quality of the wine was average. Service was ok though a bit nervous, maybe because there were lots of customers in a normally quiet season. In short, nothing fancy but it was ok.

The restaurant has a nice outdoor seating area at the back side, overlooking the tiver Rur and part of the old town. In fact, this was the main reason why we wanted to try this place for a late lunch/early dinner. But the rest was a bit disappointing. Food was in one word 'moderate ', even poor if I compare it to other restaurants. Prices are slightly highter than average. The terrace at the back side is nice for a drink.
