We were charged 5€ for 2 glasses of tap water and then weren't provided with the receipt. The food was nothing out of the ordinary

Fabulous setting overlooking the river. Superb friendly service and good food. Relaxed setting too with shade form the sun outdoors.

We ate on the terrace over the river, the view is nice. The table was not very clean, the service was OK, and food on the average. Nothing bad but I would not choose this restaurant if I'm back in Monschau. Visualizza piatti

We have been eating here two Times. The first time it was the Special menu of the day: really value for money! The second day we enjoyed the chef's Special: Rumpsteak Lütticher Hof. It was really good! Very friendly staff, always ready to help

We decided to have dinner here since they have first harvested fresh white asparagus and the food weren't disappointing us! The schnitzel with white asparagus in hollandaise sauce was nicely cooked and even my 20 month old son enjoyed the asparagus soup. The service was friendly and nice.

We fought with the menu, although it was in English, but were from a German couple close to us we sat we enjoyed the food, the well cooked Sirloin Steak with pepper sauce pork pruning Fries, followed by pastry cream fruit an apple swirl. We decided to have dinner here as our first choice was closed. We had a lovely time. It was a balmy evening so most people were seated on the terrace. The terrace has a fab view down the river. The service was very friendly and we had a laugh or two with the wait staff when it started to rain and they had to put the roof cover over. We chose traditional German meals, mine was Schnitzel with pfilinger mushrooms in a delicious sauce. Would eat here again

We came across this restaurant because our first choices were fully booked and we didn't make reservations. We took the menu of the day which was very well priced and included tomato soup (nothing special at all), deer steak with red cabbage (nice) and a small ice cream. Very small wine choice and the quality of the wine was average. Service was ok though a bit nervous, maybe because there were lots of customers in a normally quiet season. In short, nothing fancy but it was ok.

The restaurant has a nice outdoor seating area at the back side, overlooking the tiver Rur and part of the old town. In fact, this was the main reason why we wanted to try this place for a late lunch/early dinner. But the rest was a bit disappointing. Food was in one word 'moderate ', even poor if I compare it to other restaurants. Prices are slightly highter than average. The terrace at the back side is nice for a drink.
