Great and delicious burgers (besides the other foods in the menu). Twice we went on the same week-long trip. Also good detail about the monthly selected ale. Had a nice surprise tasting it.

incredibly delicious chili with acidic cream, rice and tortilla chips. the bark was perfectly seasoned. I really enjoyed it. also the steak and the Ale Pie was excellent. the baked on the top was flocky and made for a great dish. drinking were also great!

Stopped here for a quick bite. Ok good and drink, had a burger. They have a mandatory service fee/charge which I dislike on principle and it doesn't really improve one's experience, I think you should be able to choose whether you want to tip. It did say that they charge it on the bottom of the menu, so whether 10 percent is worth it, you be the judge. I would suggest to people that they actually ask if there is a mandatory service fee, it may be good to get away from the most touristy places for food.

So i went here with a couple of friends and we ordered classic pub food with drinks. They have a pretty decent menu choices. Stella Artois was more stronger then the finnis gunn. I tried their lamb shanks with potato mash was soo good. The meat was felling off the bone and was cooked to sheer perfection.The sausages with mash came in a bread bowl along with an intense gravy and caramelized onions. Superb! The fish chips were quite a hit with crispy fries and a fresh, well battered and flaky fish.We didnt go wrong as well with the classic beef pie.
