"This place is a true hidden gem, although it has a very strong reputation in town to deliver very good products at good prices. You wouldn’t guess what a nice terrace can be found beyond the trees. The atmosphere is very magical and serene and I had a great cozy evening with my partner. For a start, the strawberry basil gazpacho was really refreshing. For my taste, not too sweet however it does tend to be sweet. Every plate we had had a great presentation, and portions were amazing. My partner loved the warm bread he received with his fois gras as an appetizer. I liked my veal, although I would have preferred a less strong dried tomatoes taste in the sauce. The risotto had a great consistency, perhaps slightly too buttery. I didn’t taste the basil. The tartare of my partner was great, and so were the fries. As a final step we took a sorbet valaisanne and the portion was great to be shared between two. Prices are fair for products which are local. The staff was very friendly and luckily for me who I don’t speak French, at least one person was speaking Italian too. We didn’t have to wait too much, I feel that the staff was properly trained. In addition, we never sensed any noise from the kitchen nor stress from the owner (very important point! . I can definitely recommend this restaurant!"

"Ich war schon ein paar Mal hier, für Frühstück und Abendessen. Fondue hier ist toll, auch wenn die Lage nicht wirklich gemütlich ist. Es sieht aus wie in einem alten Bar aus den 70er Jahren ... Trotzdem war Fondue wirklich gut. Ich habe das Frühstück nur einmal und und ich wurde gegründet der Manager/Besitzer weniger als einladend (Mann und Frau , wie sie haben mir einen Gefallen tun würde, Frühstück? Und es war auch nicht so gut um ehrlich zu sein ... Es war für mich gebeten und der Rest der Gruppe, wir sollten sagen den Tag, an dem wir Frühstück wollte wie sie Brot und Marmelade entsprechend zu kommen am Vortag! ? Wirklich, es ist ein Kundenservice eine Einstellung wie z. B.? Resultat wurde nie wieder."

"Das Le Trappeur befindet sich im Zentrum des alten Dorfes Mase an der Ostseite des Val d'Herens. Die Aussicht von der geschützten Terrasse war fantastisch. Auf der Speisekarte stehen Gerichte auf heißen Steinen sowie andere regionale Produkte. Der hausgemachte Beef Burger aus lokalem Rindfleisch war das beste, das wir je gegessen hatten und die Desserts (auch hausgemacht) waren köstlich. Der Service war höflich, schnell und effizient und wir haben unseren Abend dort genossen. Wir freuen uns auf eine Rückkehr, da wir nichts auszusetzen haben. Sie haben auch portugiesische Torten während des täglichen Menüs, wieder hausgemacht!"
