Jedes Mal, wenn wir in Hamburg sind gehen wird zu Mahadosa. Super leckere Dosa und das Ambiente ist super angenehm. Am besten wäre jetzt noch ein Veganer Mango Lassie

We had a dosa made vegan on request. It comes with a hot curry sauce and 3 dips. Also the Chickpea Curry was great as well as the starter plate. Everything was great and delicious. The starter plate 68 was a bit fillable, but super delicious.

The restaurant is mostly vegan/vegetarian, everything is explained and clearly labelled. I had never been to a South Indian restaurant before so I was quite happy to find this in Hamburg. I had a dosa (crispy pancake made from lentil dough filled with spiced potatoes) and a starter. It all tasted very nice and I'll be happy to come again. Visualizza piatti

Eine unglaublich faszinierende Welt erwartet den Besucher/Gast hinter der Tür dieses unscheinbaren Restaurants. Sowohl die Inneneinrichtung als auch die Gerichte sind besonders. Die Gerichte lassen einen Einblick in die authentische Küche Südindiens zu und überraschen trotz einfacher Gerichte durch Geschmack und Raffinesse in der Zubereitung. The food was delicious, but this service would make me think twice about coming back. The waiter “Mo” was extremely unfriendly and treated us with a certain arrogance. The first question we were asked was “How long do you want to stay?” and before we finished and drank we were asked if we wanted to get the bill now. He also treated the guests at the next table very rudely. When we talked a little louder, Mo replied that it wasn't our living room. This ruined our celebratory mood. Even though the other waiters were very nice and accommodating, Mo unfortunately ruined the experience. We are used to different service from the other “Maha” restaurants.

I was very disappointed with going a long way to find that the place was not fully vegetarian. There are a few non vegetarian food options too. I don’t have a problem with any restaurants food availability. But when reality does not meet the expectations, then it’s disappointing. I am a very strict vegetarian who does not eat at a place where they serve non vegetarian. I asked the waiter if the place was vegetarian (as the board outside read it but there was a funny smell inside). I ordered after they confirmed it was vegetarian. While leaving the restaurant, I found a sheet of paper (outside of the menu items) that read lamb, prawn etc etc. Very very disappointed. I will never ever recommen... Visualizza piatti
