"We love sushi and were looking forward to a nice dinner out. Maki-sushi was dissapoonting on many levels, the staff were cold and service was non-existent. The ambience wasn't great either The menu was very limited, also the sushi didn't seem to be freshly prepared, as we asked for tempura prawns and at first we were told they had them and then we were told we could only have them in a roll.... So the tempura was definitely pre-cooked. For the price of the food we expected fresh, well made sushi We won't be going back."

The portion sizes were not very good although the food was lovely My biggest big bear was that I told the waitress I was gluten intolerant, asked for gluten free soya sauce bit was still brought out courses covered in regularly soya sauce which contains gluten

since this place is under new management, there are actually people here in contrast to the times before I here for a beautiful romantic meal. very nice decor and delicious food. I would recommend the veggie gyozas and the tempora. good value tablets when they are hungry and some quite rare dishes when they go for a taste ride

it was ok, the sushi was nothing spectacular, neither the menu options nor the trembling again in order, but I will not return. lack of ambiente no music play uncomfortable things sitting and 1 man with service in restaurant sorting supplies and phone calls and ordering. This restaurant is very well decorated and set out. Atmosphere is perfect for a date in the evening or a business lunch. We went on a quiet night with only one person working on the floor and therefore the service suffered(had to ask for more water twice ect) food came out in good time and tasted very nice however it wasn't quite interesting enough to justify the price tag

Liked the look and feel of the decor, but the music was all wrong. Most of our food was good bar the tuna sashimi which was an odd fluorescent pink and even odder texture; a shame really as the seared tuna and tuna in the rolls was lovely. We were there in a Friday evening and there were very few other diners. The service was ok but items were forgotten and the bill came without us asking for it.
