Fabulous food, allergens accommodated, great service and the owners couldn’t have been more chatty, friendly and helpful.

Amazing food, very large dinners in a friendly atmosphere with great service. I had jumbo Cod, my other half had the burger stack and both of us struggled to get anywhere finishing our meals. We had garlic bread as a starter which was lovely too

On our return from Wales my wife and I stumbled on this delightful pub by chance. We ordered a stacking burger and a beef curry. The food was excellent as was the friendly service. Portion size was excellent and the whole meal was great value for money. Visualizza piatti

I ordered the Man of Ross 10 oz steak burger. Quite simply the best burger I 've ever had!!! It was amazing. Cooked ro perfection, with fresh onion rings, proper chips, crisp and crunchy salad. But the burger was exceptional!!! It was simply faultless!!

Lovely pub, that we were relieved to discover after cooking the hill from the river. Dogs allowed inside and out and they provided water for us. We had the homemade fish finger baguette and a prawn and smoked salmon salad. Both were enormous and came with home made sauces. Very very tasty. Lovely smiley service and a decent price.

Wow wow wow. What an amazing meal we had. The staff was so friendly and professional. We had the Sunday lunch and it was very tasty and hot. You are given loads of meat and a very good selection of vegetables. My husband said the bear was lovely. We will definitely be back and we have told lots of people to visit. Had a lovely day in Ross house hunting with my sister and decided to try Man of Ross for lunch, and was not disappointed, the got us in before a large party had ordered. We decided to have a blt. When it came it was an extremely large portion with chips and couldn’t eat it all, so they kindly put it in a takeaway box. Lovely place, and very friendly people who own it. Would highly recommend if your out and about in Ross on wye

Popped in for lunch to break up a sluggish car journey and I 'm rather glad we did. Butty Bach on tap had my tail wagging before we 'd even sat down, and the menu happily built on that good start. All the pub grub Greatest Hits were here. Burgers, sausage and mash, pie of the day. If they 'd had gammon with egg and pineapple, we could legitimately have shouted 'Bingo '. I had the pie steak and kidney, since you asked and she had fish and chips. The portions were substantial, and though I finished mine, the jumbo fish came out victorious opposite. Great food though, superb service, lovely atmosphere and refreshingly old school prices. Would recommend in a heartbeat.

Stopped off here on our way back from wales for some lunch. The service was amazing, the two girls at the bar very polite and welcoming and same with the locals at the bar. Lovely little pub. My partner ordered the stack burger and I had the Vegeterian burger and wow it was enormous! The chips were to die for and the veggie burger was so tasty, even my partner (who loves meat) said it was gorgeous so that tells it all. The meat burger had a huge slab of beef it was really juicy tasty. It was fresh, butcher style meat. The value for money here is absolutely brilliant. We both agreed it was some of the best pub food we’ve ever had. So glad we came across this and can’t wait to hopefully come b... Visualizza piatti
