"eating is amazing, generously cut, tastes fabulous and the chef obviously puts a lot of uproot in the dishes, plus prizes are great. the staff is very friendly and polite. the children's park is the perfect environment to let the small steam burn off and for parents to relax. a certain must be if they are in the opposite!"

"This is a fantastic pub restaurant and hotel, firstly the staff and owners are fantastic great service always with a smile on thier faces, the pub is just so welcoming it's like sitting in your living room with friends,it's the most dog friendly place I've ever been to our Rosie loves it we just let her off her lead she just flops in front of the log fire and has a sleep then she goes and says hello to all the other people and dogs in there its brilliant, then their is the food which is simply outstanding every meal I've had and it's quite a few has been restaurant quality my highlight is the steak and ale pie all I can say is wow desserts are also fantastic and they cater very well for gluten free which is a godsend for my fiance, breakfast is very good plenty of fruit cereals juice tea coffee and a fantastic full English although their are also plent of other things to have on the menu you even get a sausage for your dog,the rooms are clean tidy could do with a bit of an update but the beds are comfortable and they are warm the hotel caters for walkers and they don't mind if you come in the pub with muddy boots, their is also a drying room and electric charge point and ample carparking, I cannot recommend the Bower house enough and can't wait for our next visit 11/10 Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5"

"very welcoming and only admitted for a fast drink, one started. we were very welcome. dawn the nice girl that served us was tasty, she made a big fuss from our dog flora and was very informative about the pubs in st bees where we were. it is worth making a trip to worthington to go there outside the harbour front."

"This lovely pub/hotel had several vegan options all of which sounded amazing! I went here with my husband (also vegan) for starters I got the cauliflower bites which came with a delightful mint mayo dip my husband ordered onion bhajis which came with a tangy mango chutney and was also lovely! For our main, we both initially ordered banana blossom fish and chips but they only had enough for one portion so my husband ordered the vegan lasagna. Both mains were brilliant! They allow dogs inside and were so accommodating for our female dog who can be wary of strangers (training ongoing). Staff were so lovely,the atmosphere was nice and the beer even better!
