"Having been to Mariona a couple of times a few years ago, I decided to take a trip over to kreuzberg once again last week in order to indulge in some fine Catalonian cuisine. The restaurant and staff were as inviting as ever, however the key ingredient was missing - what has happened to the food?!I had the octopus to start and followed it up with the lamb and my wife went for the risotto. The mains were overcooked (risotto was also tasteless in addition to being a little chewy) and the chef was too generous on the salt for my lamb.Desserts were average - my crema catalana was runny inside and my wife couldn't finish her spicy panacotta (nice idea but didn't work out)I really hope that the chef was just having an off day as this should be a 5 star restaurant. Unfortunately, I can only give it 3 based on my most recent experience....visca Mariona - you can do better!"

This place is a gem. Perfect for a romantic dinner. The mains are small and perfectly curated. It is a tapas bar with a modernist twist. Great wines and incredibly nice, true Catalan staff.

Gourmet food in a surprising simple and friendly ambiance. Service is as kind and gentle as one can expect. Food is spectrum of flavors. Follow your waiter suggestion, you will not be disappointed.

Ordered two dishes with a friend. Found the quantity very small and the prices very high. The steak was average nothing so special, some mashed potato and asparagus, tomato.Fish calamari was fine but not much was given.Wine was the worst I've drank in all my time living in Berlin.Service wasn't very friendly.

For my first course I enjoyed the smoked salmon with dressed raw red cabbage. My main course was an asparagus risotto topped with wild mushrooms and garnished with a cheeky little red pepper. My companion had lamb (??) for his main course, which appeared to be cooked perfectly (pinkish). we both opted for the panna cotta for desert. This too, was served with a touch of chilli and with a delicious green sauce. Very good wine, too.

Highly recommanded. We have visited this restaurant several times already and we alway enjoy our evening. There is something very positive in the air, all the people working there look like having a great time, they are motivated and creating a good atmosphere. The food is tasty, well presented, always has more flavours, the headchef likes to combine many different flavors which makes it interesting. I personally find it great that the menu is changed regualary. The service is just great! We will totally be back.

I went there with a few friends for a nice summer dinner and we could enjoy the terrace. The staff is super friendly, really great service. The menu is changing and quite small, hard to find something when like me you're awfully picky and don't like green stuffs. I had the patatas bravas, tasty, the burger, quite good, beef a bit too cooked for my taste though. For dessert, I had the chocolate mousse on vodka-lemon sorbet, excellent. All my friends were happy, really nice place, just the prices are a bit too high to my opinion.
