"Visiting the Max und Moritz Wirtshaus was an unforgettable experience. With it's tall ceilings, stained glass windows and large ball room, the venue invites you to imagine times gone by and all the historical meetings that might have take place there. Candlelight is the predominant lighting, which adds to the historical vibe of the place. The food, traditional German cuisine, was freshly prepared, comforting and delicious and the servings generous. I especially appreciated the many vegetarian options and numerous vegetable side dishes. The place has a relaxed and family friendly atmosphere and the staff is friendly. I recommend this culinary experience!"

this is my must-restaurant when I am in berlin.definitiw a German classic, even for a lifetime vegetarian like me. make sure to make a reservation and remember to bring cash money, as they don't take cards.

very sweet and pointed restoration, very nice and funny personally and eating was large area the meat! only cash payments not convenient I suggest to try this experience, very nice place! the location is close to other places to have a beautiful night

Great German restaurant with cosy and old-school vibes . Food was great, portions were huge and we had a great night trying the beers on the menu. It wasn 't busy so the service was great. They don 't accept cards but there 's a an ATM machine nearby so don 't let that spoil your experience :

really good food, especially the carving. the menu really gave us some good German kitchen options, and the guy who seemed the owner was very charismatic, charming, and spoke excellent English. large selection of beer/drinks as well. the price was quite normal to what we saw in the opposite. they only accept cash, although they tell them that while they go through the door. pigs

With so many restaurants to choose we went to this one because of its good reviews and near where we was staying it was so good we went twice. The staff and food where excellent had two great German dishes and the portions are certainly not small so cannot tell you what the pudding are like. Drinks where very good as well and nothing was over expensive which made it even better. Thank you to all at the restaurant two great meals had by us all

Good German pub food. Not the best schnitzel I’ve had but still quite decent. The potato soup with bacon and sausage worked well as an appetizer. The portions are rather large. They offer a good selection of drinks, particularly beer on tap. The servers are all extremely nice and friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. An enjoyable experience overall, but I found this place to be somewhat overpriced, given the quality of food and the location.
