"we came a noon during our holidays and came back enchanted. staff are listening to clients and attentive to children. We have been served quickly, which is appreciable with children in the early age. The dishes are a real delight and there are for all tastes. we enjoyed the freshness of the products. to finish the frame is neat and warm. Too bad we can't take the restaurant in our luggage!"

"Petit restaurant a l'écart, calme, très mignon, Jolie déco. L'accueil et très agréable et chaleureux, nous n'avions pas réservé, mais avons eu de la chance, car les 2 service été complet ensuite. Les tarifs super raisonnable pour la qualité des produits, une cuisine recherchée et goûteuse, beaucoup de saveurs et d'originalité, pas d'attente pour le service, la salle complète, la patronne et vraiment très agréable, malgré le monde elle prend le temps pour discuter. La quantité des assiettes et très bien. Et beaucoup d'originalité, nous avons pris cassolette escargots et quenelles de volaille à l'estragon, saumon confit a base température, froid aux agrumes et gingembre, rognons de veau cuit à l'etouffe, bouillon de tomates et poivrons doux aux courgettes, pavé de veau a la plancha jus au cidre et pomelos et parfait au citron vert et fraises marinées. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant."

"This restaurant had great ambience and service and good food and options at a very reasonable price but the food was a bit bland. We ordered fish and steak and once we added a bit more salt, pepper and lemon (on fish) it was great. I would recommend."

"Flat dessert formula that agreed to me this noon. Dish of the day: Merlu fillet Serrano sauce accompanied by carrots and turnips. I added pepper to enhance my taste of vegetables. The fish was well cooked just like vegetables. Dessert: basque cake with cherry accompanied by a raspberry coulis? Very good. If you take chicken with basquaise for several people, it will be served in a factout. It's up to you to share. He was accompanied by a gratin of potatoes. Curious but the guests ate everything! Special mention for bread: really delicious."

"(Veggie review) Great location, just off the busy Pl. St. Sauveur. Welcoming service, olives on the table while we ordered. Helpful that the owner speaks English. Two vegetarian entrees was an excellent start oeuf cocotte and fricassee d 'artichauts (not asperges as on the menu). Both really delicious. Then the standout dish of our week in Caen the 'beautiful vegetarian plate '. It was really was beautiful to look at and to taste. We shared so there would be room for dessert on one evening the raspberry 'soup ' and lemon sorbet, and second time the heavenly chocolate mousse type cake. We had lots of good food in Caen but this was the best. About 47EUR (40GBP) for two of us with a small drink (lovely dry cider, and apple juice second time)."
