Fancied a good burger so I ordered Meat59 tonight. Delicious, succulent full of flavour. I ordered a chicken burger which was the best I have had. My husband had the house burger and really delicious too. Definitely pick up a takeaway again and can’t wAit to eat inside

Friday night thought we would support local restaurant. Ordered via Just eat. Food was 45 mins late contacted restaurant via app 5 times !!!. Had no response. Food arrived stone cold and not edible. They couldn’t find our booking, still squeezed us in which was good. Plonked us on the end of the huge table in them middle, luckily we came before 6, as we were leaving the huge table became heavily occupied by some sort of party. Not sure why they couldn’t just pop us on one of the little booths to the side but nothing to get worked up about. Food arrived in under 20 minutes and was delicious. Kept us going till the next morning.

Ordered via UberEats and got one meaty burger and one vegan burger. The food arrived really quickly, was still hot and tasted lovely. The only problem was that the burger boxes weren’t labelled so it wasn’t immediately clear which one was the vegan one so my OH had to try them both. Luckily the unmistakable taste of vegan cheese helped us (this is not the restaurant’s fault, vegan cheese is never as good as real cheese and I’ve got used to it..! . Really great and looking forward to going to the actual restaurant.

We were in the area exploring as we are due to relocate at the end of the month. My husband found this restaurant doing some research online. It doesn’t look like much from the entrance but when you get up the stairs to the restaurant… wow it’s absolutely stunning! The decor is perfect and I bet it’s buzzing at the weekend. The waiter was fun, had a bit of banter and was really inventive. We had two burgers and loaded fries which were honestly the nicest chicken burger I’ve had in a long time. We had heard that Meat 59 had been refurbished so we thought we would stop for lunch.From walking in the door downstairs you were hit with a wow factor! The whole place had a real vibe to the decor, very interesting wherever you look and the marriage of the old style and the trendy new was very well done. I wont say anymore as it will spoil it for your visit.The service was friendly and relaxed. Whilst visiting Newton Abbot with my teenage Grand daughter we headed for a Restaurant I used to know only to find it had changed hands. We headed upstairs and was pleasantly surprised to see the change in Decor.... very fresh and trendy and to be greeted as if old friends. What a fabulous surprise. I discovered a modern twist in a Burger Bar to the excitement of my grand daughter! Having been immediately shown to a table and swiftly served with drinks we took the recommendation of a Succulent Chicken Burger and an incredible Beef Burger served on the most tasty mouth watering baps with Rosemary Chips and Sweet Potato Chips. Last evening we visited meat 59, all started well but after ordering drinks and waiting 20 minutes for them to appear we started to get slightly concerned, we waited a further 20 mins before asking for more drinks and a possibility that our order could be taken, another 15 minutes later we were approached to take our order. Unfortunately these establishments only serve white buns, no brown or alternative buns just white!! Since I can't eat white bread I had to have the alternative salad in lieu of a wholemeal in or brown roll, when my meal arrived all I could see on the plate was a very small Pattie with a slice of chorizo on and three very thinly sliced mushrooms!!!!!
