"Messon Valdetorres is located in the town square and we are there to mark a family birthday. It’s a lovely location adjacent to the local church adorned with nesting storks chattering noisily to their off spring. The restaurant offered a varied menu of traditional Spanish dishes. It was pretty busy during our stay and yet service was attentive and prompt. We shared a variety of starters amongst 9 and several also ate main courses. My escalope was thin dry and appeared to be deep fried; served with chips. My partners Merluza was beautifully prepared, tender, moist and tasty; accompanied by a simple salad. As can be the case in Spain dishes appeared when ready. Some main courses arrived whilst we were still eating our starters and our first plates had not been cleared. So the meal appeared rushed and another party were hovering, waiting to be seated as we departed. We enjoyed a pleasant evening but were struck by the prices at this village restaurant. They were easily the highest that we paid during our travels around Spain. It took the edge off the occasion."

Llevábamos muchos años sin ir y la verdad es que está como entonces. Típico mesón castellano para comer bien a precios razonables. Limpio y bien iluminado. Quizá necesitaría darle un vuelco algo más innovador a la carta de postres.

Inmejorable. Tan pronto como entres, esperas comer en un lugar de alta calidad y una vez sentado no decepciona sino que supera las expectativas. Los asados son un verdadero placer, el cordero y el chochinillo son de lo mejor que he comido y soy bastante exigente. Para el postre pedimos una panadería y por favor. Creo que voy a soñar con una semana de lo exquisito que fue.

el sitio es muy bueno, todo limpio, la atención es buena, la comida es excelente y usted ve que los productos son de excelente calidad. En mi caso, pedí que entraran empanadas, muy bien. para el almuerzo pedí el coco con las papas de panaderas, excelente. postre, un flan muy bueno. Con respecto al tema covid, las tablas tienen separadores y he visto cómo desinfectan todo entre cada uso. Lo recomiendo al 100%.

Así como el primer día. Llevo años lleno para comer en fechas excepcionales como cumpleaños, reuniones familiares, celebraciones. y siempre hemos estado encantados. la impecable atención del personal, limpieza y entornos extraordinarios. perfectas medidas covid, con pantallas entre tablas y/o buena separación. la comida es de muy buena calidad, de sabor espectacular, velocidad de servicio y cantidades amplias. Vale la pena pagar por ese dinero por comer allí. precio por nada sordo, ¡voy a seguir!
