"Of all of the local eateries in the surrounding area, the Punchbowl is always the most consistent, serving an array of beautiful dishes to the same high standard. The Sunday lunches are really good too the chateaubriand is amazing (but so is the pork, chicken and beef! We never struggle to find something on the menu that isn’t a win.. Whenever we have friends over from the USA or visiting from down south the first question they always ask is ‘are we going to the Punch?… We enjoy going out to eat, and here we know that the food will be amazing, the staff are so incredible and the service is always great and being honest, there isn’t any real competition, it blows everywhere else out of the water! It has a lovely ambience, struggling to say anything other than I can’t recommend this place highly enough! Keep doing what you’re doing…"

"Good food, nice and relaxing atmosphere in a nice location. The mussels are especially nice and the lobster decent. The seafood grill I've been told was quite good. The lobster platter was very nice, though for the price I think the amount of food could be improved £69! . Staff very friendly with the exception of one member of the wait staff who told us to hurry up with the payment because it was busy... Still didn't spoil the experience though."

"We stumbled upon this charming stone inn today after the winds from Storm Franklin forced all nearby National Trust properties to close. It was a cozy old gas house, sheltered from the cold wind, featuring real fires and excellent coffee for our mid-morning break. We also enjoyed a satisfying lunch. While the menu might be a bit limited compared to some places, we all found our meals to be quite enjoyable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which prompted us to return later for dessert after our walk. The nearby channel on the right is worth exploring, especially as it leads to the first of the nine locks on the Lapworth Curly Flight."

"The farm consistently exceeds expectations. It was wonderful to return. Both the outdoor and indoor areas are beautifully designed. The staff are fantastic and truly a credit to the establishment. The social distancing measures in place were effective yet unobtrusive. The food always takes center stage here, and I was thrilled when my dish arrived, knowing it would be delicious and visually appealing. My ribeye was cooked to perfection, and my friend's miso cod was incredible, bursting with flavor! (Kudos to the chef(s)!) There's also a great variety of meatless options on the menu. We will definitely be returning repeatedly! This place is amazing!"
