Excellent authentic Chinese food. The jiaozi (dumplings gyoza) are as good as anywhere we’ve had. The duck is excellent not too fatty or too much skin and full of flavour. Every dish we had was excellent. Overall a big thumbs up from us.

Visited this week on holiday and very disappointed the portions were small and the beef in black bean sauce was like meatballs ,the chicken fried rice was like spot the chicken and the curry sauce was very watery left very disappointed the Duds

Fancied a Chinese meal when we were in Cala Bona, so I got the Google Maps out to find out exactly where Modu was. It was directly behind Hotel Sur on the sea front, so off we went. The restaurant was busy but they managed to fit us in. We had 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 drinks for €31 which was excellent value for money because what we had was very nice and more than enough to eat. We wouldn’t hesitate to eat at Modu Restaurant the next time we visit Cala Bona

This place is set back from the sea front but was only 5 minutes walk from from the main drag in Cala Bona. As others have said it is basic (no ornamental dragons either side of the entrance etc) but the food was great. The prices were reasonable and the size of the portions is a matter of opinion. Some say they're small. I'd say they're about right. We had a set meal for 2 and it was tasty and didn't leave me feeling over full like some Chinese restaurants do.

If you fancy a good tasty Chinese meal. Go here. We’ve been coming here for a few years and we’ve never had a bad meal. Sometimes we have a takeaway too. The portions are just enough. If you like your plate piled high, it’s not that type of restaurant. But every morsel is full of flavour and just enough. We had 3 courses each and 4 drinks, under €60. The staff are lovely , really appreciate it if you have enjoyed your meal. I really can’t praise this wee gem enough. We’ll be back again! Next week no doubt , yum!

Don’t be fooled by the outside The restaurant is set back from the rest of the harbour and not in the most desirable spot, and the outside looks a bit dated…. However… It was incredible The food was some of the nicest food we had the whole trip We shared a chicken curry, a beef chow mein, egg fried rice, chicken in black bean and some chips and prawn crackers It was absolutely amazing We had two colas each and our son who’s 18 months shared bits of our food and loved it If I had a slight criticism there was a bit of a wait for food however you could see how busy the restaurant was with takeaways and the food was definitely cooked from fresh Reasonably priced too If you like Chinese food I’d...
