I had the most disappointing takeaway yesterday. I ordered the tandoori mixed grill, but there was no bed of onions as mentioned on the menu. The meat was cold and unappetizing.

"We want to express our gratitude to Christine, Lisa, and the team at The Cranleigh for making our wedding reception in June absolutely amazing. They were incredibly accommodating and helpful in organizing the event. It never felt like they were focused on charging us the highest price, but rather on making sure that everything was tailored to our preferences. Christine went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly on the day and was always available to address any requests or questions. The dinner was delicious and our guests thoroughly enjoyed it, as well as the buffet and midnight snacks (bacon sandwiches and chips). The staff were attentive, polite, and made sure that everyone felt welcome and well-fed. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend The Cranleigh for any event. "After eating in the sukohthai 30 times this year,I have cancelled my old 4 review to write a new 5 review. "Pre booked . On arrival the man behind the bar just pointed to a table when we walked in..didn’t even speak ! We ordered drinks while looking at the menu these seemed to take ages to arrive. The man behind the bar was talking on the phone taking orders not making the drinks that’s why they were taking so long to arrive ! We ordered our our food from a waiter who looked like he wished he was somewhere else, not serving us.. No customer service or social skills .. The food arrived as did the hot plates. The mixed grill was a tad burnt , but tasty. The food was all very nice. We felt like the place just lacked any atmosphere."

"Booked a table for our Anniversary, told them that we will try to arrive at the booked time of 7pm but it may be slightly later as we are out all day and traffic may be not be kind (originally requested a later table but there were none available) Anne said this is fine. Decided to call when we were on our way to say will be there between 7.05/7.10 to be told that they had called me all day and didn’t hear so gave our table away. I had one missed call from an unknown number at 2.10pm, no further calls, no voicemail, no text and no email. We were really looking forward to the meal, emailed Anne to say that we’re just in shock that this is considered acceptable, said we were happy to have paid a deposit if she was that worried that we wouldn’t turn up, she hasn’t even had the decency to reply. Avoid!"
