"Waited over an hour for delivery. Called to chase it up and they said they couldn’t find the flat so just didn’t deliver it (they had our contact number and didn’t try calling). Food obviously then arrived cold. Very bland and tasteless, lamb was chewy, korma tasted no different to the masala. Peshwari naan fell apart so we couldn’t even eat that. Onion Bhajis again had no taste all you could taste was the oil it had been cooked in. Second time we’ve ordered from here and previous time wasn’t great either. Wouldn’t return."

This restaurant serves the worst biryani - it was half cooked and distasteful. The chicken was poorly marinated. If I could give it zero stars, I would, but unfortunately, I can only give it one star.

By far 1star is to much ordered food so disappointed. They fried the chips in the same oil as they fry everything else so chips come with burned onion and test you can imagine and my kids don't like onions so we had order somewhere else what a waste

Ordered take away online. Delivered on time but food dissapointing. My passanda was very watery and had separated in the tray. No amount of mixing sorted this. Food wasnt piping hot, only warm. Little flavour. Wrong naan bread sent. Should have been pashwari, instead was filled with greasy cheese. I'd been really looking forward to trying this restaurant but it doesn't compare to other local Indian restaurants

"An old fashioned Italian restaurant that has obviously been successful for many years with a loyal local clientele. The decor was ok if somewhat tired but, as said, has to be successful so why change? The owner is a great guy, larger than life and...very accommodating and funny. His second is a little less outward going and does not seem to enjoy his job much but could be it was just a bad day for him which after the last number of months is entirely understandable. I had mussels, which were excellent, and herself a caprese salad the quality of the tomato and mozzarella was not the greatest plus it was swimming in too much balsamic dressing (which, he pointed out to us, is how he likes it personally). For mains, herself had a really excellent seared lamb and lamb risotto from the specials and she loved it. I tried a little and have to agree it was excellent. I had Zuppa de pesci which was pleasant enough but the star of the show, large prawns, were somewhat over cooked and slightly powdery to my taste. Having had excellent dinners in two local restaurants, overall it was a disappointing last night’s stay in Seaford softened by some good cooking and watching the host at work. The wine list, incidentally, is good and would recommend the dry house Rose and the Primitivo which was excellent!"

"Lovely place, excellent staff, but the Sunday roast just wasn't very good. Veg very undercooked for my taste. Cabbage mixed with onion not for me. Peas might well have been local but were bland. Yorkies obviously cooked earlier in the day and therefore were like cardboard. I would love to go there again, but after they've found a competent chef Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3"

"My wife and I had the best salmon carbonara we have ever tasted at this restaurant! I also tried the Pizza Piccante and it was superb as well. We will definitely be coming back to eat here before catching the ferry back to France. Thank you for the great food and service. The overall rating for this restaurant is 5 for food, 5 for service, and 4 for atmosphere. The price per person is around £10-20 for dinner."

"Walked past this place and happu to find a vegan menu in the window. I had soup of the day, which agter adding salt to was very good. Husband jad sausagerollwith salad. Really good homemade sausgae roll although for the price we would have expected two. Staff we're really lovely and helpful."

"We recently dined at Ollivers after not visiting for some time. The atmosphere was just as warm and friendly as we remembered. The food was delicious and the quality and standards have remained consistent, which is hard to come by these days. The prices were excellent and the drinks were reasonably priced. We won't wait as long to visit again next time. We had a fantastic evening and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It was a real treat and we would highly recommend it."
