"Visited Mudlarks recently for lunch on our way to Ware for a family birthday celebration. I have recently changed my diet to mainly plant based food, no fat, no dairy due to gallbladder infection. I chose the one pot red curry with the salad and an apple and blackcurrant fruit tea. The food was so tasty and filling. Excellent value and staff very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend this Cafe. Thank you"

We visited Mudlarks when having a walk through town. Concept is great and staff really friendly, cookies were best ever had. If in area and looking for coffee or bite to eat definitely recommend!

Love it here, extremely tasty food, fantastic value, lovely staff. Loads of vegan options if you are plant based. Only downside is that I spend too much money by going too often! Can’t recommend enough.

Been mudlarks a few times I will always come back. The food is fresh and they do nice coffee and Milkshakes , the cakes delicious and homemade. The staff are lovely and helpful it’s a pleasure going there

Lovely cafe and friendly staff. Tea was fine and as it should be but the chocolate mud cake was to show stopper . . . absolutely delicious and it took me back 40 years when my Aunt used to make one. Place was nice and clean. Busy but managed well. Give it a try.

Despite what is written on their website, this cafe is not accessible for a mobility scooter. I was passing the other day and saw an elderly chap try to ride his mobility scooter inside but there was too big a step at the threshold to permit him yo do so. Clearly a threshold ramp or two is/are needed.

I’ve been meaning to visit Mudlarks for a while and finally got the opportunity today. I visited with a friend for lunch and loved the quirkiness of this cafe. Everyone was very friendly and the service was great. We had the jacket potato and salad for lunch which was delicious and a generous portion too. Will be back!
