"I thought there was a good range of gluten free options here and mostly the reviews were positive so thought I would give it a go, especially as it was only a 10 minute walk from my accommodation. Very polite staff, even to the point of setting my napkin out for me. I found it difficult to understand them with the masks and accents (I am partially deaf) and we had a bit of too and fro about how many poppadoms I wanted but it worked out fine. The chicken dish I had was flavoursome and plenty of it. Though my rice seemed quite dry. I liked the little appetiser pickles to go with the poppadoms to start. HOWEVER this was not a complimentary starter, you pay for it as I saw it was added to my end bill. I didn't expect that and wouldn't have had it had I known. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would return there, though the 2nd time would be make or break."

Came here with some work colleagues after a busy day at York Racecourse. Staff were pleasant all evening and presented us with some exceptional food. Never visited prior and was recommended to us (and we can see why). Happily visit again if I’m in the area.
