"this restaurant is a favorite among the diviners, known for its lush wild dishes and traditional ofenkartoffels. it is difficult to reach (20 minutes by car from göttingen), but the ride is worth it and it is a joy to know that there is such a place in a culinary city. the room itself is quite picturesque and comes closest to a traditional German family restaurant, which I have seen in the opposite. expect a low deck, an interesting decoration from old times with beacons and old paintings as well as a rogue service. what I honestly prefer (restaurants in the opposite are often either chains or are too much aimed at students and tourists). but the most extraordinary is, of course, eating, typically a kind of local meat (wild pig, brain, etc). which is slowly cooked with the associated sauce, and then the ofenekartoffeln and red cabbage. all belong to the best (if not even among the best) I had in the opposite. they expect something more than usual - it should be approx. 20-25 Euro/person with drinks - but it is worth it."

tradition in the region göttingen (ot bremke). the menu has not changed in 20 years. of course the bratkartoffels are recommended. deft eating, humble salads. price-performance ratio absolute o. k. approach with public transport means hardly possible.

at the second time here I learned with one of my friends in göttingen that it is a family favorite from old time. home cooking, settled in the former ddr, so that the history and tradition are really neat. eating is excellent, just like the service. highly recommended.

never again! the steaks very tough- the bratkartoffeln almost black, served for three people in a dish, triefing before fat and hardly spiced- the stir tasteless and liquid. the service unfriendly and not accommodating. not even the quantity was true and that with unjustified parlors in the upper third. then prefer to drive a few kilometers further to göttingen or holy city and eat for less reasonable!

for the price are the portions and the quality a naughty!Bin the last time 2 years ago have been there and found that eating at that time really great! everything was self-made, red cabbage etc. and that was also tasted.Today I got red cabbage from the glass, without real taste, with rubber-like meat and pfifferlings in aqueous sauce, plus 5 labbrige croquettes for 15 euro. this is still known to me from my study period. was there again for 20 years. as you can see, a local with tradition. it had changed nothing, not even the menu. Of course, the bratkartoffels of mother hated the absolute number 1, but after 20 years you would expect a little change. as at the time, the salat insert is a gray, looks more like iced goods. for a well maintained carving with a good beer, however, it is sufficient. there is another local in bremke, only one kilometer further on the main road, just a few meters ahead of location. but not so well known.

we were there at 17 o'clock and were also the first and the only guests but the greeting was not especially friendly! Unfortunately, during the whole time, the lady's friendliness has changed absolutely nothing! She was more annoyed than pleased to have us as only guests!I got a rudder in a dirty glass and when I made her aware of it she was even more unfriendly and more pity! well, maybe she had a bad day! the food was very good and also very tasty until on supplementsalad! we had once beef and once filetsteak with pfifferlings and bratkartoffeln. the salat was very sweet made with finished sauce probably!So combined it was very good but the operation was rather bad!

"they enter this locally over a terrace, which is covered in summer with big wine. expects a bright dining room with the typical equipped Greek accessories, but without cuddling. interesting is the cover design, which is designed in the form of a wee canopy. we could get a table in rest because only one table was occupied in the smoke room. for a Tuesday evening, 18 o'clock, but nothing unusual. we were supplied personally by the cook (family operation with menus and the drinks were also very fast. with the time came more guests who also partly used the outhouse service. we ordered an appetizer cup mezes, zaziki, skordalia, taramos salat and feta (4,90 €). the individual portions were arranged in each case to two small ice balls per sort at the edge of the dish, within a filled wein leaf and an olive, with 6 slices of baguette. in the main dishes we have decided to make a Greek carving with mirrors, cheese, grilled asparagus, filled wein leaves, bratkartoffeln and a mixed salad for € 13.00 and a farmer plate with bifteki (filled with feta, suwlaki, lamb chop, leber, gyros, pommes fry for this we have a part zaziki. the various types of meat were well seasoned, on the point cooked and juicy. even the lamb is not impenetrable in taste. in the Greek carving were the mirror eggs (two for my man were exactly right because a little more liquid.
