This is a fantastic spot for a proper family meal, complete with a wonderful outdoor playground where the kids can have fun. The location offers beautiful views of the river, making it even more enjoyable!

had lunch here on Sunday, eating was amazing. a lot of space between tables, so they don't feel, cramped or in the wise of each. the menu was varied and had a good choice of set. the prices were very reasonable, would definitely recommend.

I met a friend there for a catch-up. It’s a lovely pub with plenty of cozy nooks and crannies. We both ordered the crab risotto, which was quite tasty, although it didn't have a strong crab flavor—I actually forgot there was crab in it! The service was good, and overall, it was a pleasant experience.

This is a surprising 5 star review. Why? Well we visited a fair while ago and were not particularly impressed. This time. They managed to fit in a table of 9 without fuss or bother at VERY short notice. The service was excellent and most importantly the food was good. I mean very good. With plenty of parking, flat level access and an outdoor seating area with a kids playground I can heartily recommend this pub to all age groups.

This was my first visit to this pub since its renovation and change in management, and I must say, I was impressed. The renovations have been done to a high standard, and the space feels very spacious. Although we didn't have any food, we were pleasantly surprised to find a talented entertainer singing Christmas hits from Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé. He was fantastic! This pub is situated in a lovely location with plenty of parking available. It features a spacious terrace and garden, complete with a children's play area. The lunch menu is diverse and intriguing, and overall, the food is quite good and well-presented. Unfortunately, my venison steak, which I ordered medium rare, arrived overcooked without any pink, making it dry and tough. Additionally, my wife's chicken, ham, and leek pie was reportedly too salty. If it weren't for these issues, we would have rated The New Queen five stars.

We had to ask staff to take our order, asked twice for water for the dog, same with salt pepper and twice for the bill. No one bothered to ask us how our meal was. Throughout this the manager was either on his phone, looking at the weather outside or dancing chatting behind the bar. Such a shame as some of the food was nice, although the sea bass was the size of a goldfish. What could have been a very good dinner in a very comfortable pub was spoilt by exceptionally lazy service by all except for one waiter named Simon who seemed to be doing everything whilst others seemed to have anything but customer service on their minds

Poisoned…. Visited Saturday the 21st may, staff were friendly and nice! I ordered mussels with a duck main, my wife had sea trout. When the mussels arrived there was no finger bowl or spoon presented. After sorting this i de shelled the mussels I was slightly concerned that the shell was 3 inch plus and the flesh was the size of a penny! However on tasting the dish I was automatically concerned on the amount of salt that chef had used. This later proved to be the least of my problems, I asked to speak to the chef who was busy, so I got the manager. Upon tasting it himself, He Agreed that it was not very nice and not good enough.
