This restaurant is no longer in operation and hasn't been since 2019. The property has been taken over by Brown Bears, which is a fantastic establishment.

Popped in for a snack. Food luke warm. Plates cold. Would not recommend. Quite tasteless. Coffees were OK. Floor dirty. Definitely will not be going back.

Went here today the food was ok just feel the whole place could do with a good clean .The toilet is not nice either certainly needs a good clean and decorating .

What has happened to this place ? Used to be good. Gone downhill. Today we witnessed an elderly lady wait at the counter to be served. Staff ignored her. After about 7-8 mins the lady just walked out. Won’t be going back there.

The staff was friendly, however, that was the only positive aspect of the experience. The food was served cold and of low quality. The restaurant also appeared to be in need of a thorough cleaning. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Took my mum here for breakfast. Food was good. Unfortunately no black pudding on the menu. Otherwise very nice. Nice clean cafe with friendly staff. Only downfall was lots of people using back door (which I didn’t know was there) so lots of cold air being let in

Went to this cafe with my mam, , not busy empty tables full of dirty dishes I cleared a table, went to the counter to order no one there, a guy scraping the hot plate told me he would serve me when he finished doing it, I don't think so, as said in other rewiews go to gregs or the butchers cafe, and as for the cleanliness it could do with a deep clean revamping and new flooring, this place should be buzzing

Not the best service , tables not being cleared , and when ours was cleared from the previous customer the cloth that was used was filthy dirty . I ordered drinks . Slice of cake which was rubbish and a baguette this was so over cooked bread very very hard and burnt on the underside . It would have nice to have our food brought at the same time so we could eat together . Rubbish food and service STICK TO GREGGS NEXT DOOR

The staff were rude and ignorant, the food was barely warm and served in very small portions. The restaurant has received a 0 rating from the Food Standards Agency, indicating potential structural issues in the kitchen. Based on the poor front of house experience, it is likely that the kitchen is also not maintained properly. The lighting is dim, possibly to hide the lack of cleanliness. I will not be coming back to this filthy establishment.
