"Wife had doctors appointment, then I had to go to Currys, but new computer not ready. About 5:30pm now and neither of us felt like cooking, so thought let’s eat. Tried Dorallt first, but do not do food on Mondays or Tuesdays, so thought the Queen as it is on way home. The Queen has a fair sized car park, and a lovely stream running alongside, which has been made to look something. Although surrounded by houses, you feel almost in a secluded spot. Inside it has that almost country inn appearance. The food and service was excellent, but be prepared for large portions!"

A great traditional pub with superb traditional food right on the doorstep, what more could you ask for. Congratulations to The Queen Inn and staff. Not a pub in the area can compare.

Booked for a birthday party there was 21 of us and it was absolutely brilliant. The food and service was excellent. The staff were lovely and we all had a great night. Thank you Jane and Gareth fab as always.

First time we visited and we will definitely be back. We came across this by searching trip advisor and were not disappointed. Portions were larger than life. We had two courses and were defeated so didn’t get chance to have one of the delicious looking desserts.

Another family birthday celebration last night at the queen. Always comfy, friendly with good quality, value for money food.Great service from staff mainly due to the hard work of Gareth and Jane who, after many years, are always there.A proper local pub for all ages

A group of 5 of us went for dinner. The King Prawn starter was amazing. However if you do not like curry the choice for gluten free is poor. The same for the desserts ice cream was the only option. The waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable about gluten. Shame about the choices.

We were meeting our son for lunch so we're looking for somewhere outside Cardiff and so glad we found this place. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The most impressive thing about this place is the food. I had the harissa mushrooms and hummus for starter, and an incredible Mexicana veg chilli, guacamole, fries for mains. My son had the mushroom steak.

Called in here at last minute, so glad we did. Friendly atmosphere, brilliant menu choices. We both chose steak, best steak meal I have had in a long time. Very good prices too!. Must mention our very helpful and friendly waitress, sorry I have forgotten ur name but greeted us with a lovely smile, and I wish you well in a fire service career. Thank you very much
