"Sommes étonnés par le niveau de ce Novotel 4 étoiles , qui pour nous ne représente pas un 4 étoiles , nous avons l'habite de descendre ds un Mercure 4 étoiles a Villefranche sur Saône . Rien à voir : parfait .... Le Novotel Lille , chambre 3fois plus petite , petit déjeuner pas à la hauteur Tres sobre , cadre impersonnel , personnel incolore , parking de la gare : pas de places réservées... donc il a fallu aller à un autre parking .... pas de places réserves pour les taxis ou dépose des bagages : bloque par un car jour et nuit .... Vendredi/ Samedi . Tres déçus"

Very well located, near the Lille Flandres train station and close to the city center. Warm and professional welcome, spacious and clean rooms, hearty and varied breakfast.

This Novotel is clean and modern. the food pleasant but not very much atmosphere. We were sat at a table next to a wall with a small TV playing MTV. Cosy atmospheric Lille it ain't!

So-called four-star hotel, rather aging. I had a different idea of what a four star was. Reception toilets not very clean, sink in our room clogged, poor soundproofing, cleanliness of the room not at the top, environment not very welcoming. Positive points: bedding and breakfast.

Not knowing the area and having arrived in the evening my friend and I decided to eat in the hotel restaurant on our first night. A reasonable choice of food but as we were not very hungry we opted for omelettes and asked for small portions. We each had an omelette and salad and were served a small portion of chips between us. That was fine but we were both charged the full price of €12. The same meal in the pub along the road was €4 . Drinks were also very expensive.
