"if you get a chance to spend time in Allariz there is so much there and concentrated into a small area. The gardens at the bottom are delightful and sculptural and kids would love the play areas integrated into hem. Then walk up to the old town past the old riverside tannery and you are in a lovely little Spanish town. Get to the top of the hill where the castle used to be and you have a great view all around. We decided to stop for dinner and were so glad we did as it was on a food festival day celebrating amongst other things the prized beef called 'buey '. the casa pepina is right in the middle with outside tables next to the church and there was a wedding going on so a great atmosphere with kids playing round the tables and hurtling down the steep road on bikes, We had a really nice menu starting with some delicious eels and delightful mushroom pastry tapas things followed by the beef de buey which was nice. Service was great to start but got a bit ragged as time went on and the square and the restaurant filled up. It will be a day I will remember lovely spot."

A stop here will not disappoint. Arrive hungry, enjoy the most delicious seafood and wash it down with a gorgeous creamy pint of Guiness. This is a superb house, well run and welcoming. Enjoy!

Estuvimos de picoteo, las croquetas buenísimas y el caldo gallego muy generoso y muy rico. El servicio rápido y amable y el restaurante tiene terraza y vistas a la iglesia de Santiago. Admite perros cuando está lloviendo, esto se agradece.

Nice restaurant in the centee of the old town of Allariz. The food was good, the waiters very friendly and although the menu only in Gallego, the waiter helped us with a nice meal. We could stay outside until midnight and the atmosphere was very friendly. Visualizza piatti

All the food was amazing. We had Xamón de boi e tartar de tomate Pepiño, Croquetas caseiras de xamón, arroz con carne and galo... The rice and the croquet were super amazing in our opinion. The staff was nice and attentive. The place is adorable. Highly recommended.

Me and my wife love visiting Orense in winter so as to spend quality time in the termas there so this year we decided to stay in Allaris and there we looked for a place to dine and surprisedly we found this great restaurant where the service and food are simply wonderful
