"Stayed here for 4 nights in August while we agreed prior to our trip that we wouldn’t eat here every day......well, we did!!! The food was/is just so good we couldn’t not!! We had everything from a full meal to what I Class as a ‘snack’ meal (e.g. jacket potato) and every meal was spot on!!Do just want to add on this review though as there is no Stowaways listed on Trip Advisor, although the food in Stowaways was good, I have never come across such a rude woman in my entire life!!! We went for breakfast on Thursday 8th August I have NEVER met such a rude woman ever!! We were tempted to go back for the breakfast on the Friday but we didn’t bother as I couldn’t face being served by her again!!!!"

If you have a big appetite you will be satisified. Quite a good choice for children too. Evening singers a bit boring and dreary.

The ploughmans and the scones are good value for money. Lovely coffee and the cocktail deal they did at v dub weekend was good value.

Recently stayed on the campsite and enjoyed the entertainment provided by Jonathan Mark who excelled with his diverse songs and music.

really nice food staff are very helpful and friendly can enjoy a drink with a meal. Also seating outside so the children can play in the games room or on the play equipment.

It was quiet and at the beginning of the season. The barman and other staff were great and went out of their way to be helpful. A nice space with plenty of seating and good to be able to take the dog in. Food was of an acceptable standard, but portion sizes were too small for the prices charged. We left feeling that we hadn’t got very good value for money. Not a wow

Absolutely shocking family meal,complete waste of £70 son had spaghetti Bolognese he was up all night being sick an my meal was burnt so I complained about it got another one which was the same absolutely shocking worse meal ever overheard 3 other families saying how bad there meals was we complained and they staff was very rude and standing around playing on there phones

Walked into the restaurant on a Sunday at 1.30pm with my wife an son for a Sunday lunch. Was told by the staff that we'd have to book and they couldn't surve us any food. I have never been in a situation as stupid as this in an empty restaurant before. There was 2 people sat in the whole place and 3 staff members, so hardly packed out. The rough looking blonde woman behind the bar seemed to take great delight in telling us she couldn't serve us.
