Historic small restaurant with authentic local fish food. The meals were simple yet full of flavor. elegantly presented. Service is fast and courteous. We came here several times and had a great dinner each time.

Recensione del ristorante: Cena facile e piacevole con personale cordiale e deliziose pietanze di pasta fatte in casa. Anche famiglie con bambini piccoli presenti. Atmosfera allegra e nessun problema. Vasta lista dei vini.

Il cibo era eccezionale, dal primo al secondo piatto abbiamo apprezzato ogni singolo morso. Non abbiamo provato i dolci, ma sono sicuro che non saremmo stati delusi! Il conto era giusto, il personale era gentile, sarei felice di tornarci.

We ate here on our visit to Lake Garda. Firstly the wine was very good, all local wines. The food sadly let the restaurant down. Local traditional food but lacked taste and the fish was on the dry side. Maybe we ordered wrongly but both of us left disappointed.

The food is good, nice menu with typical plates of the region. But the service we encountered made the visit to OsteRiva something to forget asap. A waitress that’s is continuously pushing you and obviously being in a hurry to get you out (while the restaurant was open one more hour… So, not really recommended unless they’ve fired the waitress.

Thi is a very nice place located in a small street. It has not lake view but you can find here amazing dishes and nice people. In the menu you can choice between meat and lake dishes, all made with local products. We went for cold cuts, handmade pasta with mushrooms and a trout, everything was so tasty. Wide choice of beers, wine and spirits. After the meal we were also offered an hand made grappa, really impressing taste, well done! I'll come back for sure

Why this fantastic restaurant is not rated higher than 30th in RdG I do not know! We did t have it on our radar for just that reason but last eve it was jumping and the buzz was tempting so we ventured in they only had a high table next to the bar but we loved that as we felt in the middle of things so when another was offered we chose to stay put. Sausage and tomato thick home cooked spaghetti for wifey and large bread gnocchi with salami and goulash stew (basically stew and dumplings for us brits) both fabulous, a lovely wine from Pisoni (only local wines are on the list which is great) and another local grappa made this a meal to remember and we can heartily recommend OsteRiva service was...

Siamo passati davanti a questo ristorante la nostra prima sera a Riva e sono rimasto attratto dal menu tradizionale (e un po' insolito. Abbiamo deciso di cenare lì due notti dopo e siamo stati ricompensati con alcuni piatti davvero eccezionali. Ho mangiato ravioli ripieni di pesce bianco locale (gustosi, cotti alla perfezione e serviti con un ottimo condimento semplice. Il mio compagno ha mangiato dei Canederli molto saporiti con lo speck, un piatto tipico del Trentino. I nostri dolci erano un semifreddo e un salame al cioccolato. I chose this place because of the reviews on trip advisor. I had used a few recommendations from TA and been very pleased with all of the places I had tried in Riva. This was dinner on our last night there and it was very disappointing especially since there are so many good places to eat in the town. I had the white fish ravioli and Hubby had the lake fish. Both were not very good. The raviolis were dry and Hubby said his fish was mainly bones and also dry also vegetables on the side didn’t taste fresh.
