Erst wurden wir etwas unhöflich bedient, weil wir mit unseren Hunden draußen sitzen wollten. Aber das hat sich schnell gelegt. Das Essen war top, der Service auch.

Große Auswahl am Buffet und man kann auch einzelne Gerichte bestellen und auch alle Gerichte sind zum mitnehmen. Das Essen ist lecker, frisch zubereitet und die Portionen sind groß und reichlich.

Wir waren heute erneut in der tollen Pagode. Heute fanden wir das Essen nicht so schmackhaft, aber jeder hat evtl mal einen schlechten Tag. Der Service war wie immer super freundlich und aufmerksam. Having lived in the Far East for many years I have to admit that the food is kind of ,, germanized ´´, however the variety and qualioty of the buffet is outstanding. Refills are fast, they never run out of anything. The service is quick...and polite. For me it is the best Chinese Restaurant within a radius of km.

We went to the Pagode Restaurant for lunch. It is newly renovated and gives a very clean impression. We heard this is the best Chinese in the Area. The food was nice and for for the lunch Buffet all ok. But it did not...leave a lasting impression, to my taste there are plenty of good Chinese restaurants in the area that I would actually prefer.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und es hat uns gut gefallen. Die Tische stehen in einem sehr großen Saal und sind etwas unterteilt. Stimmige rote Lampen unterstreichen den asiatischen Style. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und schnell. Das Buffet ist frisch und abwechslungsreich. Hier findet jeder etwas. Es gibt auch ein Nachtischbuffet und einen Schokoladenbrunnen. Ich hatte nach über fünf Jahren Abstinenz mal wieder Lust auf ein Chinesisches Buffet und so fuhren wir im April 2024 mit fünf Personen in dieses Restaurant. Die Auswahl der Gerichte ist reichhaltig, der Kellner, der uns bediente, war superfreundlich und brachte die Getränke superflott. Auch hatte er immer einen netten Spruch parat und nach dem leckeren Essen gab es noch einen Rosenschnaps auf's Haus. Obwohl ich kaum Alkohol im Allgemeinen und nur sehr selten Hochprozentiges trinke, fand ich diesen Schnaps hervorragend und bestellte mir tags darauf eine ganze Flasche. Ich kann das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

I had lunch at The Pagode twice in my two week stay in the area. We always had a wonderful waiter who served us who was very attentive to our needs. We were always greeted with a warm welcome and a glass of plum wine...after we were seated. The Pagode has quite a large buffet selection. I stuck to the shrimp and seafood dishes and especially enjoyed their salad bar. I even ventured to try a reindeer dish in a brown sauce...obviously not your typical Chinese fare but I simply had to try it since I had never had reindeer meat before. I don't generally like buffets but this one was pretty good. The food was fresh and varied and the service was good. Would go back there a third time if and when...

The Pagode is a good place for a meal in the town of Odenthal. They have a surprisingly large selection for their buffet lunch or dinner. There are fish, seafood and meat dishes and a variety of vegetable dishes to choose from. The ingredients are...fresh and delicious. They have sushi as well in the evenings. There is always a large selection of desserts to follow which consists of ice cream, cakes, lychees, etc. I am not fond of Chinese buffets as a rule but certainly enjoy this one. The staff are polite and friendly and they seem to have a good following from people who live in the area.
