"Finding good Chinese dumplings is a proper mission in Paris...but I think I've accomplished that task by finding Panda Style. My partner and I went here after being recommended by our lovely host - we were staying next door. We weren't expecting much, but were frankly blown away with how good the food was. Proper home cooked, delicious dumplings...so good you can actually taste the love and care that has gone into making them. I've had a lot of jiaozi, to me it symbolises love and togetherness - sitting round a table, making them with your granny/dad/mum/siblings/friends, chatting, laughing, arguing. Then having too many because they're so good. That's what dumplings are all about for me, and I felt that at Panda Style. The owner is a very humble, quiet and shy Chinese lady from Xian, she's extremely modest about her cooking! My goodness she shouldn't be - she has a gift for dumpling making. We had a really good salad to start with, the dressing was perfect. Then we had a plate of guotie (potstickers, or fried dumplings) and a bowl of dumpling soup, both with mixed fillings. The soup was a revelation - perfectly balanced, sourness from the Chinkiang vinegar, saltiness from the soy, umami from the dried shrimp, aroma from the seaweed and sesame, with the dumplings like little parcels of joy. Eating it was like a warm embrace. The guotie were seriously good. Fillings I've never had before but which worked deliciously well. Crispy base, chewy skin, amazing juicy filling.I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone who takes their dumplings seriously!!! :)"

Run single handed by a young chinese lady, feels very cozy. Specialty: Chinese ravioli, either in soup, or boiled or fried. Inexpensive and very tasty.

We are in Paris after having studied here more than 20 years ago. We found this really tiny Chinese restaurant last night with only 4 tables! The chef, a pleasant young lady is also the owner, waitress and bartender. Although the place is small the food, which is a set menu, was a blast of flavours. Freshly made and wonderfully tasty. We were three at our table then five more people came in so the place was full creating a friendly atmosphere. Not a big drinks menu the only alcohol she had was beer but she said that if we wanted something else we could get something at the bar next door! We paid 42 euros for a great meal for three with four beers and a pot of green tea. I would definitely go...
