"The boat house was recommended by the landlord. The situation and the something stressed, but friendly staff were the best we learned today. But from the beginning: I would like to notice that we were there on the last day of school holidays, it was well visited and we had wonderful, sunny weather. We sat near the entrance and were asked for a comparison of eighteen minutes) what we would like. We asked the servant to delete our table. Remains of the predecessors also remain on the menus. We put a glass of cutlery. Some knives were smeared. After another quarter of an hour our drinks came. The lemon was striking in crystal wheat. I feel 0.5 l for 4.10€ so good. However, the contents were about one centimeter below the calibration line for both crystal stained glasses. There was too little carbonic acid in the Cola. Then our food came after ten minutes. Large portion of carving with roast potatoes and mushroom sauce for only 14 €. The Scavenger was sister and didn't taste me. But other guests praised the food. The roast potatoes tasted after the fresh onion, which was not roasted. Our second dish was a pizza magerita. The dough was Labbrig and did not taste us. The waiter warned us several times before the very hot plate. The location is good, the staff was friendly and helpful despite the missing tip. But unfortunately it is a restaurant for us that we would not like to come back to."

"We had settled in the farmhouse Schieder and what was closer to it and there for dinner. From outside the restaurant looked very nice and so we decided to order a candlelight dinner for the evening. The price of 49 Euros we found very cheap and we were curious what is expected there in the evening, because it should be served appetizer, main dinner, dessert and a bottle of wine. Here is the description of the hotel page that I can fully confirm. “The Hotel Landhaus Schieder is located at the entrance of Schieder, right next to the castle park, in picturesque surroundings, in the middle of the Lipperland and at the edge of the Teutoburger Forest. The elegant property was built around 1900 by Count Ernst Regent in the Lippe as a villa and converted into a hotel in 1990. The hotel complex has comfortably equipped apartments and a large garden terrace. In the area you will find peace and relaxation. The directly adjacent castle park with lake invites you to stay. In the immediate vicinity you will find extensive hiking and sports opportunities such as mountain biking, sailing flies, canoeing or golf. Hotel Landhaus Schieder Modern ambience in ancient walls.” The restaurant is very tastefully decorated. It's all very harmonious. There is a separate smoking room, a beautiful beer garden and a cozy bar. The restaurant was well visited by hotel guests and guests of the place. We were very kindly received and led to our table. We received our menu and could see for the first time what awaits us. It was possible to choose between 2 wines, either a white wine from 2010 Fleur de d ́Artagnan or a red wine from 2010’s Dornfelder “Four Seasons” were selected. We chose white and also a bottle of water that were served later. The white wine was taken in the stand-cooling tank so that the temperature remained excellent for the further time. Some time later we started with our menu. She was served hot and was very delicious. Mushrooms were fresh and not boiled Little Rumpsteak with beans and beans Puff The Rumpsteak was roasted on the point medium, the bean bushes were still light bite resistant and the potatoes were ok Alternatively you could also eat band noodles with parmesan foam and ratatouille. Chocolate with warm plums and orange buttermilk ice cream The box was a bit too strong, the plums were unfortunately not warm and the ice was okay. The service was very friendly and attentive throughout. The only manko was the waiting time between the corridors. Conclusion: Everything was nicely served and was really good overall. The price for this menu is sensational. Price performance very good."
