"we had a family dinner today with 9 people. you sit there very cozy. the house was full incl. room, nevertheless the service is fast, attentive and very friendly. eating is plentiful (some had to surrender before the amount; ; ) and superlecker! Last but not least, the price-performance ratio is extremely good. we were all satisfied and happy to come back."

"Ein sehr gut besuchtes Restaurant nur mit Reservierung möglich . Urgemütlich zu sitzen in einem umgebauten Ackerbürgerhaus mit Fachwerkbalken. Das Essen sehr gut für jeden Geschmack auch für den Vegetarier und natürlich für die Fleischesser auch."

"The lake terraces have a super location, the staff was very friendly. Prices were fine. Unfortunately, the coffee was only Lauwarm. The apple strudel was in my stomach! The vanilla sauce was from the tetrapack. The table decoration with green plants does not fit. You might find something more suitable for the first Advent."

"We had settled in the farmhouse Schieder and what was closer to it and there for dinner. From outside the restaurant looked very nice and so we decided to order a candlelight dinner for the evening. The price of 49 Euros we found very cheap and we were curious what is expected there in the evening, because it should be served appetizer, main dinner, dessert and a bottle of wine. Here is the description of the hotel page that I can fully confirm. “The Hotel Landhaus Schieder is located at the entrance of Schieder, right next to the castle park, in picturesque surroundings, in the middle of the Lipperland and at the edge of the Teutoburger Forest. The elegant property was built around 1900 by Count Ernst Regent in the Lippe as a villa and converted into a hotel in 1990. The hotel complex has comfortably equipped apartments and a large garden terrace. In the area you will find peace and relaxation. The directly adjacent castle park with lake invites you to stay. In the immediate vicinity you will find extensive hiking and sports opportunities such as mountain biking, sailing flies, canoeing or golf. Hotel Landhaus Schieder Modern ambience in ancient walls.” The restaurant is very tastefully decorated. It's all very harmonious. There is a separate smoking room, a beautiful beer garden and a cozy bar. The restaurant was well visited by hotel guests and guests of the place. We were very kindly received and led to our table. We received our menu and could see for the first time what awaits us. It was possible to choose between 2 wines, either a white wine from 2010 Fleur de d ́Artagnan or a red wine from 2010’s Dornfelder “Four Seasons” were selected. We chose white and also a bottle of water that were served later. The white wine was taken in the stand-cooling tank so that the temperature remained excellent for the further time. Some time later we started with our menu. She was served hot and was very delicious.
