"very nice staff, there are vegan options, but unfortunately no vegan starters. The £5 margherita pizza can be easily changed to vegan by eating after the vegan I think is violife, the bases are already vegan as it is only flour and water. for a restaurant in a small tourist town it is very convenient to consider that they are a small meal for only £5 (that is a pizza and a drink.) the personal is looking forward to reviewing all allergen problems and are very fast in reaction and eating was quickly cooked. great meal for a good price and great staff. updated by previous review on 2021-08-24"

came for a light lunch and a afternoon in bridgnorth. great eating, cheap prices. perfect place for a quick lunch in bridgnorths high street.

Great surprise. We were visiting Bridgnorth on a wet Monday and fell upon this place unknown. Very good food, nice helpful staff, extremely reasonable lunch offers for two or three courses. Dog friendly, good coffee, we will definitely return.

the vegan pizza was amazing, the personal is very friendly and helpful. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, since this place has a really good call for a large independent company. they offer a few other vegan options, but I wanted pizza! it was a beautiful traditional thin and crispy pizza and they can also add their choice of toppings. will be leaving. we have been dining on a Saturday evening with friends in peepos and could not harm the service, atmosphere or quality of the food. and we are restless! from the beginning of the evening it was clear that you had made a lot of thought to create a chic culinary experience with a menu that made every taste. eating was very good and very cheap. I would agree with ray. the mucho meat pizza was great and we will go back soon.

a very great place with brilliant tasting! we both had a very nice pizza in peepo, which was very surprised how beautiful the whole experience was. the menu is very ideal for pizza lovers. although large, it did not take the two of us long to make them their own pizza option that was included in the very good price three-course option. peepo only lacks the 5 stars because it had closed quite early at 9 o'clock, we had eaten at that time, but maybe for an additional drink if it were opened longer. very good will check your lunch in the future!

wow. we traveled to the recommendation of our friend ray, who had dimmed several times at peepo, with only positive results. my partner and I drove from a lot and to be brutally honest, I would go next time. the eating, the atmosphere and the whole event was nothing short AMAZING.....My friend, lisa, is not ordinarilly an Italian food fan, but that is not an ordinary Italian. < the eating was completely authentic, be not her run the mill peroni, but a specially imported brew, and sometimes I had to check out out to ensure that I did not ask that Visualizza piatti

the sky knows just why we missed this place on our previous trips to bridgnorth because it offers a series of vegan options, either from the main menu or on the lunch meal deal: £5 for just one main dish, £8 for two courses or £10 for three. as greedy I chose the last deal that existed in my case: starter meatballs with arrabbiata sauce main roasted Mediterranean tea on a bed of spicy sweet corpses ratatouille dessert chocolate caramel cake with vanilleeis the eating was really fabulous and beautifully presented by beautiful friendly coworkers. we will protect peepo in future safely.

"Beautifull hotel, I guess one can call it trendy , but I just don 't understand how they can justify the price £130/night and that most of the time will go to £160 as they run out of entry level ones. So I guess the answer is there because people pay for it! But let 's just make some relevant comparisons Birmingham Grand literally in the heart of the city, brand new, 5* hotel, with all recently decorated rooms to the highest standard is £135 15 for breakfast. Needless to say rooms are air conditioned, fully equipped and genuinelly very posh. Hotel has lifts, has porters and the service is top notch. The Lion is barelly 4* just for trendiness alone, but the actual quality of furnishing is closer to 3*, has no lift and you will be lugging your bags up and down mutiple flights of stairs (and I mean multiple like 8 going up and down) trought narrow corridors to mediocre room (nothing wrong with it just mediocre) which isn 't even air conditioned. Sorry, I just don 't get it. That said restaurant is good fully fine dining if you are into it. Althought in my oppinion it doesn 't fit into the rest of the hotel. So it is ~3.5* hotel which is very youghtfull and trendy and then you get 5* fine dining with very tiny portions for the dinner (which is not criticism of restaurant, it is very good on it 's own). In conclussion I just don 't get what niche this hotel is filling, who stays there and why. The price for the rooms should be £75 95 tops. Shreesbury is not exactly prime tourists destination either (at least shouldn 't). But it seems it is working out for them, I just would not recommend it, I would not stay in it again and it is definatelly not worth the price. Neither in isolation, nor in comparison."

"Open since 1970 and located on Mardol, one of Shrewsbury’s oldest streets @thecurryhouseshrewsbury serves locally sourced ingredients married with traditional spices and chillies from the Indian subcontinent, a match made in heaven. 5 5 Recommended Price No better way to kick off proceedings but with popadoms, chutneys and fresh onion salad. On to appetisers and there are so many tempting dishes to choose with many of these exclusive to the curry house. Our first time trying Pani Puri. A sweet and spicy hot street food snack filled with chickpeas and tamarind sat on a bed of crunchy, nutty Bombay mix. With a building but pleasant heat, definitely something everyone should try. The quality and freshness of the seafood was exceptional. Spicy king prawns were huge and cooked to perfection. Charred on the outside for flavour but juicy and meaty. Trio of King scallops were beautifully tender and of a good size with sweetness from the tamarind liquor. Lamb rogan Josh tender lamb shoulder in a medium hot ginger tomato and onion sauce. A strong take on a traditional favourite of ours. Fresh from the Tandoor a generous mix of marinaded chicken, lamb, king prawns and a chargrilled lamb chop. The Tandoori deluxe massalla sauce was the perfect blend of sweetness melting into a subtle heat which brought the dish together perfectly. The curry house takes traditional dishes and flavours from the Indian subcontinent and elevates them to a level beyond expectations. Thank you for our invite to share the exciting menu created with passion and creativity. "Fantastic range of small dishes and meals for lunch and dinner. The menu ranges from scandi to oriental, so something for everyone. The menu is clearly marked with allergens, including what meals can be adapted. The chicken is halal and vegan and vegetarian options are plentiful. The cocktail and mocktail menu is great and they do one of the best espresso martinis in Shrewsbury. The decor is modern and comfortable and there is plenty of space. As a wheelchair user, I can get into the ground floor and to a table. The outside seats are up a small step, but the whole front of the building is a retractable wall of windows, so I can still get the feeling of eating outside in good weather. The service is friendly and knowledgeable about allergies, the menu and the wine list. The staff are helpful and unobtrusive. The only difficulty for me (hence the 4 star review) is that the accessible bathroom is next door, in their sister bar, Libertine. Unfortunately, libertine isn't open the same hours as HotRS, so I can only use it at certain times. The ladies does have a lock on the door, so staff have cleared the ladies toilets, which allowed me to take my chair in and lock the door. I had to walk a couple of steps to get into a stall but my chair was safely with me. Of course, there is also no alarm cord, but they stood outside the door so would have heard if I shouted for help."
