My partner and I came to eat in the restaurant last night and we were so impressed by the service we received. All of the staff were very polite and helpful. The food was also superb and very reasonably priced.

Honestly the best in Yeovil. Such good roasts and even better homemade pies. The staff are always so friendly and the atmosphere is cosy. We’ve tried many restaurants locally, and Pen mill always trumps the others.

Although it was busy we were quickly shown to our table. Staff very helpful and attentive. We ordered steaks, as all food cooked to order it took a little while to arrive. This was not a problem for us. Our meals were very enjoyable. Looking forward to going again soon. Visualizza piatti

I had a wonderful experience at Pen Mill. My partner and I went for a Valentine's Day meal and the food was amazing. The scampi salad was impressive and the salted caramel cheesecake was divine. The staff were all friendly and efficient, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great evening. Thank you, Pen Mill, for a lovely experience.

Could someone please teach the breakfast chef how to properly poach an egg? Thank you! We stayed for 2 nights. The young bar staff and waitress on our first night were extremely personable, friendly, and professional. However, the older staff working on our second night were terrible. If you don't want to do the job properly, please find something else to do.

Delicious food, with such a tempting menu! There are loads of options which is great, but particularly a lot of veggie and gluten free options, which 2 of the group are. We were a little bit awkward, ordered 2 gluten free vegan burgers and one normal, all with different cheeses and add-ons and swaps etc, but our waitress Lucy (sorry if that's wrong! was really sweet, and got it all perfect. Have always loved this place and go regularly. John and Sarah are so welcoming as are the staff. So I was a little surprised at breakfast this morning when it wasn't quite as welcoming as usual. Met by blank expressions I felt a little uncomfortable, almost as though id upset someone. Usually greeted with a smile and how are you. It was far from its normal happy cheerful place. The food as always was lovely.its a shame I don't feel like returning in a hurry. As a very regular customer I've begun to feel less valued when they don't acknowledge us.

Three days in the South West on business and lodging in the Pen Mill hotel. What an excellent experience that turned out to be given previous stays elsewhere in Yeovil. The hotel is clearly a family business who take great care of their guests. Accommodation was all I needed, comfy bed, space to work, reliable wifi and pods of coffee. The bar was super busy Monday to Wednesday over my stay and I could see why good selection of beers; really friendly and attentive staff and a great menu choice (including specials) for food all terrific quality and unbelievably good value. I cannot recommend the Pen Mill enough and will definitely be back

Wonderful, helpful staff excellent service from booking until we left after celebrating a 40th birthday. Luke was so helpful when I rang to book easy to talk to. On arrival today all the staff were kind, caring, considerate and were incredibly helpful. The carvery was tasty with an excellent choice of vegetables fab Yorkshire puddings. The 4 children in our group aged 2-10, all enjoyed their carvery and the ice- cream dessert that came with a chocolate flake marshmallows. Thank you to all the staff at ‘front of house’ ‘behind the scenes’ for making today a very special 40th family celebration! We will definitely be returning, not just as a family, but as a couple because we were so impressed... Visualizza piatti
