"We had visited Stone Henge for the day, it was late, the kids were hungry and tired and all the chain restaurants we had tried to get into were fully booked. I was stressing out and this restaurant saved the day! They were able to...accommodate us at extremely short notice. We were a large party of of those small kids. We were so thankful and pleased to come here. They don’t do a kids menu. The kids can have anything off the menu, just a smaller portion which I liked as kids can sometimes get a poor deal with the usual chicken nuggets and fish fingers as options. All the food was delicious: pizzas and pastas. Although I had to agree with other reviews, the service is a little slow. (This wouldn’t have bothered me if I hadn’t have had the tired kids with us). There is also free car parking at the back."

We had a lovely late lunch here at Piazza, staff were lovely and the food was amazing, by far the best Italian I have had in a long while! We will definitely be returning.

Good Italian restaurant, which has plenty to offer children and vegetarians, as well as adults and meat and fish eaters. Good range of pizzas, but lots of other Italian dishes.

A twin birthday . My meal wasn't on the menu, guess wat, thay made it for me. Genuine Chefs. Staff excellent and work so hard. We are lucky in Amesbury to have a quality restaurant that survived and maintained that talked about standard.

The customer service was sublime. Had the antipasto sharer for starter….amazing. The mains were beautiful, the salmon wrapped in parma ham was delicious, the linguine bianca was superb. We ordered dessert which again was delicious, the contrast of sweet and sharpness was perfect. recommend...this to anyone wanting a taste of Italia

Had a lovely meal here, food was very well cooked and presented and everyone enjoyed the food. But, boy is the service slow. We arrived and were shown to our table and told that they would be back shortly to take a drinks order later they came back. Another minutes to come back and order food and even more time to check or see if we wanted anything else. We only had the chance to order drinks all the time we were in so it cost them a few quits in lost drink orders.

"We stayed here ten years ago and thought it was wonderful and worth every penny. We were so excited to return, but really Disapointed. The grounds are lovely and we were pleased with our room. The children loved the outdoor space and the pool What really let us down was the food and service. There was no luxury here. The family dining choices were poor. The children's meal was bad one had fish gougons and sweet potato fries which were very salty. The other two had pizza, the small was served as half a pizza, the large was a conventional round shape. Both were shop bought bases (cardboard) with grated Cheddar on the top. Something I would not feed them at home let alone expect in a supposedly high end dining. My husband's steak was chewy. My main, whole plaice with creamed potatoes, the potato was served in a ceramic dish and it was cold. It was taken away and then took ten minutes to return by which point I had eaten the fish. The food was incredibly expensive considering how poor the offerings were. The next day we ate a very late lunch in Bath so we would not have to eat at the hotel. The breakfast buffet area had some nice items but was really understocked and allowed to run to empty. The staff functioned but not at a steady rate, we found the service slow and the staff disinterested. Such a contrast to our previous visit. The person in charge we found sullen and felt as if our presence was an inconvenience. When we walked through to the dining areas we would hop out of the staff'so way for fear of being bulldozed. When we left the receptionist was polite but did not ask if we enjoyed our stay. A week later I had an email to complete a survey and nobody got in touch despite the same feedback as given here. Very dispointing. Lovely room and surroundings but poor food and poor attitude from staff. Last year we stayed in a hotel that cost 65% less than Wooley Grange and had a much better experience."

"We had a tremendously good lunch here today-the food was quite delicious, the staff were very friendly and helpful-I’d say it’s probably one of the best lunches I’ve had in quite some time….so to give you a clue we both had the pork-this sounded really lovely and we were not disappointed-pork belly, tenderloin,a faggot and a ham hock croquet with mashed potato and roasted cauliflower with a delicious jus and a slice of pickled apple( which I ate immediately with a piece of pork and when the waiter came to ask how our lunch was I asked if he could possibly get me another piece-which he did For dessert we shared the passion fruit crème brûlée which came with a passion fruit sorbet and some chocolate soil…..the focaccia we had at the start of the meal was superb and the coffee was also excellent -we do enjoy both cooking and eating-one of life’s pleasures and it’s abundantly clear the chef absolutely loves food too-a great display of cooking books from the greats sort of got me thinking it would be a good lunch…….also worth noting the drinks menu-some lovely wines, soft drinks and cocktails both alcoholic and non alcoholic. I finished off with a mocha which was hot chocolatey but not too sweet. Bradford on Avon is most definitely worth a visit and I’d say you would be foolish to miss out on a great experience if you didn’t also pop in to the bunch of grapes for some sustenance while there… Thanks for lunch and as Arnie says “ we’ll be back”….."
