Great day out on Westray and as always well looked after at the Pierowall Hotel. This time the sun was out so we got to sit out. Food drinks: Good coffee and scones and later on good Orkney beers Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet

An oasis in the desert. Only pub we could find open. Friendly, welcoming and sold beer. What more could you ask for on a hot day? Walkability: Near the only hill in the area. Friendly bus driver from ferry made this visit possible and enjoyable Service: 4 Location: 4

We visited just for dinner and we're really pleased with our whole experience. The staff were great very friendly and helpful. There was a wide variety of food on offer with lots of local flavours and specialties. Our meals were all delicious, reasonably priced and clearly marked with allergens and dietary information.
