Pizza Express - Piatti

Restaurant was nice husband enjoyed his food they had run out of a lot of ingredients for my pizza and forgot to put the mozzarella on mine too not great

We booked here for a pre bonfire evening meal, we used to use here when we lived locally so we thought it was a safe booking. Unfortunately the quality of the food and how much was actually on each meal, it was such a let down.

I had a very nice visit with my daughter for lunch. The kids menu is great value and my daughter loved it. The service was brilliant friendly and efficient. My pizza was nice but could’ve done with an extra minute or two in the oven as it was a bit doughy. Overall, a very good experience. Visualizza piatti

I was very shocked at the poor service we’d ordered drinks at 6.30 and didn’t receive them till 7.10 and this was only the start then we’d been waiting a ridiculous amount of time just for the starter and then followed by the meal it’s self they’d try to over charge us as-well serves was very poor and I was unimpressed.

We go to this Pizza Express fairly often and have never had a bad experience, occasionally just ok but mainly good. Sometimes service may seem slow when it’s busy but we don’t mind as we like a leisurely meal out. Betty is great, remembers what we like to drink and is very helpful always greeted with a smile! The rewards club is great!

We booked for dinner a few weeks ago, we don’t have children but prefer to eat early for personal reasons. We were seated quickly having pre booked, the table was located in the window which is fine for us…. However once we had been given the menus we waited about 20mins to order a drink, if it was busy then we could understand it but there were 3 other tables plus ours. The service (with a different member of waiting staff) did improve and the food was lovely but being the only chain restaurant in Oxted they really need to up their game to be able to compete with the independents. Called pizza express oxted just before 7pm March 2nd to place an order but no answer. Tried twice e more but still no answer. I can understand it might be busy so I tried the website. After signing in and choosing what to order, tried to pay for it but I got a message that something had gone wrong. I tried again but got the same message. I thought it must be something I did wrong so I signed out and changed my password and tried again but still the same message. I gave up and went somewhere else. Pizza express lost a sale and my conclusion the website is rubbish and I won't be trying anymore.

We go 3 4 times a year to this Pizza Express it's usually ok. Went yesterday the food was ok as usual but the service was very poor. Not the waitress's fault she was obviously doing her best but they clearly did not have enough serving staff. In the end after a luke warm pizza having waited about 20 minutes for the plates to be cleared/order a desert we gave up had to go as the kids were getting tired. Very disappointing as they wanted desserts it was a birthday meal. I spoke to the manageress who I would say had all the warmth of the cold snap we're currently experiencing! I particularly liked the comment about how I should check how busy the restaurant is when booking!

We decided to go for dinner at pizza express Oxted this evening but unsure of what time. I checked the website to see what time they closed and it said 22:30. I called the restaurant to check what was the latest time to place an order for food and they told me 22:15. They said there was no need to book a table as they weren’t busy. We arrived at 21:30 to be greeted by an empty restaurant and all staff staring at us like they’d seen a ghost! A male member of staff then asked “takeaway?” I said “no, I called 20 minutes ago to ask when last orders were and was told 22:15, it is only 21:30” the staff members then all looked at each other shocked and one said “but we’ve cleaned the kitchen!” They...
