"OK I get that restaurants take bookings , and walk buy guests can cause a problem but this tiny PE was at best 35% full. On entering the door the Maitre 'D ignored us for a couple of minutes while shuffling menus around and then having been asked the obvious 'have you made a reservation ' question we got a lot of deep sighs and well I suppose I can get you in but you MUST be out within the hour. Fair enough, but then to wait 10 mins to be asked if we were ready to order from a menu that is hardly expansive..... That said the food arrived within five minutes of that so had either been par cooked or the pasta just warmed in a microwave. Even more surprising when asking for this bill this took two attempts and a further 10 minutes to process.Advice- Don 't bother visiting unless you have booked, oh and incidentally when did PE become the new Maccy D 's with crayons drawing pads and paper hats for a restaurant full of screaming kids?"

Every month or so me and my family go to pizza express and we have an amazing time. though the food may take a little while it is definitely worth the wait and it is a place for conversion anyway.

The service at this restaurant is excellent, with very friendly staff. The pizzas are still the best around. I highly recommend getting the app, as the discounts add up quickly and are definitely worth it.

I adore this restaurant. The atmosphere is fantastic, from the customers to the staff - everyone is always happy and friendly. The food is also excellent. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it.

Went to Pizza Express for lunch today as the last day of ‘eat out to help out’. Why are there no prices on the Pizza Express online menu? Ended up paying nearly £27 for 2 Penne Bolognese and the pasta was overdone and crispy.

yet another successful visit to this chainin our opinion pizza express is the best high street pizza chain.in many many years of dining pe we have never had a problemwith cleanliness service foodprice's without vouchers can be surprisingly expensive

I was disappointed that my usual go-to local spot was unable to deliver, so I ended up ordering from Pizza Express as a backup. The prices were high, the food was not very impressive, and the portion sizes were small. I ordered the La Reine pizza, which was bland and unmemorable. The garlic dough balls were enjoyable as always, but the cheesecake was lacking in flavor. I won't be ordering from this restaurant again. Lesson learned.

We went there at 8.30, which I believe is a reasonable time to have dinner. The manager welcomed us as if she was forced to have us there. (The UK is in recession, you should be happy to have customers during this difficult period. After we finished our meal of over £70, she did not even bother to take our plates or clean the table and asked us if we wanted the bill. We did not even manage to finish our drinks. The waitress was nice, but the attitude and customer service of the lady in charge was horrific. Won't be coming again.
