"Super freundliche Bedienung, immer Hilfsbereit. Sehr gute Preisleistungqualität! Portionennwaren gross.Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Als einzige zu sagen wäre dass in der Fondue zu viel Pfeffer war. I was with my son and his friends to try typical Swiss food. With a fondue for 2 people we were able to eat 4. We had a hard time finishing it. Then we also ordered a rüsti and the cordon bleau. Also a potato soup with cheese because one of the girls was sick. All very rich and very Swiss . I would give it a but and that is that the fondue had too much pepper...."

"Wir haben einen sehr schönen Sommerabend bei sehr gutem Essen im Kreuz verbracht. Auch die Kinder waren dank eigener Kinderkarte und Spielplatz zufrieden.Da die Terrasse ausgebucht war, dauerte es zwischen Bestellung und Essen (zu) lange. Die Mitarbeiterin hat sich aber dafür entschuldigt. Sie habe den Arbeitsanfall unterschätzt und keine Verstärkung geholt.Die Qualität des Essens ist sehr gut und die Portionen recht gross. Für einen normalen Hunger reicht auch die in der Karte ausgewiesene kleine Portion. Wer die ordentliche Portion bestellt, sollte schon ziemlich ausgehungert sein.Zwischen Restaurant und Terrasse verläuft zwar eine Strasse, die ist aber nicht stark befahren und hat soweit keinen Einfluss auf das Erlebnis. Zumal die Aussicht auf den See absolut super ist.Hinweis: unbedingt vorab Tisch reservieren."

"Nach langem Lock Down konnten wir endlich wieder im Hirschen essen gehen! Die Terrasse ist offen und alle Schutz Massnahmen werden eingehalten. Zur Vorspeise bestellten wir einmal einen Gemischten Salat und einmal Crevetten im Teig frittiert. Als Hauptgang bestellte meine Frau Pouletflügeli und Pommes und ich Pferdefilet vom heissen Stein und Pommes. Die Speisen waren hervorragend gekocht und schmeckten ausgezeichnet. Das Personal war wie immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Viele Gäste genossen die Frühlingssonne und das gute Essen. Endlich kann man wieder im Restaurant auf der Terrasse essen und geniessen. Wir werden wieder kommen. Es hat immer genügend Parkplätze frei."

"this restaurant could not be strategically placed for a magnificent panoramic view of the Swiss alps. it sits on a steep hill in the heigts above the thunsee and looks at the lake and the imposing mountain beyond, with more mountain ranges up to cloged summits behind one of the naves that lead into the berner above. the restaurant itself is built with many wooden beams and sport, an almost continuous glass front to the valley side of the curved building. so they sit on an almost improbable Swiss mountain scene by lush madows with skewbald cows, their bells around their näckens sound peaceful, steep mountain sides and shed drops on the blue water of the sea far down, dotted with the whte sails by small sailboats. you only expect heidi to froclicize with goat peter in tow. there is also a covered terrace outside for more seating, protected from possible winds with glass panes. we were there yesterday with the gymnastics club of my mannes, we were greeted with a friendly and cheerful greeting from all servier staff and immediately sat. soon afterwards the various dishes of our meal began to come, all delivered with great and attentive joy and good humor really friendly people. changes from us to the predetermined menu (laktose-free, vegetarian etc. were accepted with helpful suggestions and supportive understanding as well as delicious alternatives. we had a very tasty suppe, fresh and munchy salad, followed by a main dish that was drawn for most with mushroom sauce, noodles and fruit. I had a plate of sorted vegetables with a potato and a fried egg, all completely delicious and very well made. for the desert most of us went for one of the house specialties: huge medailles with right whipped cream and ice, but portioning that would make two full meal times for me! I can't bury how people can make it for the desert after a three-course menu. one of our friends made it safe even after he had asked for extra whipped cream, which was delivered cheerfully. I had only a bit of ice, even delicious. the coffee was also very good, with a full taste. this restaurant offers them a taste of first class Swiss cuisine with top service and at a reasonable price good, reasonabe for the Swiss, that is. I can highly recommend this place. they just do everything right there."

"Came here for dinner and was very disappointed by the poor service we found in this place. However the fish I had was OK, but the Rösti was luke warm and soggy intead of hot and crispy as it should be. Furthermore the meal was served in very loveless manner, almost like fast food. My wife had a fish with french fries. All in all too expensive for what we received on our plates. Service was definitely not overloaded as the restaurant was only to about one third occupied."
